Was Archbishop Bugnini's Removal Related to the Impostor Pope?

If you start out with a faulty premise, you will likely reach a wrong conclusion. Without knowing the firm grip that satan had upon the papacy and the Vatican from 1972-1978, much of the speculation regarding Vatican directives during this time period is going to be wildly inaccurate.

Using the insights that Our Lady of the Roses has graciously given to the world, there may be a nefarious reason why Archbishop Bugnini was removed from his Vatican position in 1975 and "demoted" to a post in Iran.

One of most influential prelates regarding the new liturgy was Archbishop Annibale Bugnini.

"The wide-ranging liturgical reform that took place in the Catholic Church predominantly between the years 1950 and 1975 was, indeed, like Hamlet, a complicated business, involving hundreds of bishops and experts, several popes, an ecumenical council, and countless publications, but at the center of it stood “one plain tragic figure of a man in black” — or perhaps we might say black with red piping: Msgr. (later Archbishop) Annibale Bugnini, a Vincentian priest who was one of the few men who had a hand in this quarter-century reform from its beginning nearly to its end." Dr. Peter Kwasniewski recent book, Close the Workship: Why the Old Mass Isn't Broken and the New Mass Can't Be Fixed, is a wealth of information.

Gaven Ashenden praises Dr. Kwasniewski's work:

"One of the things that Peter K. [Kwasniewski] does for us is he explains the trickery that Bugnini was up to. In other words, there was a great difference between what the Council Fathers thought they were doing and what Bugnini and Paul VI got them to do. And this is where there is an element of conspiracy theory here. Because we don't want to blame the Fathers of the Council, but particularly in terms of liturgy, we do want to know that there was a trick played on the Council. And the trick was they found themselves voting for things that they didn't intend at all. Because Bugnini had an entirely different agenda of his own. In fact, we've even had it described to us the way in which he would tell the Committee one thing and he would tell the Pope something else. And he would keep the Pope and the Committee in the dark about each other. And they would both agree to things that Bugnini told each other that they were doing, but Bugnini wasn't telling them the truth. In other words, he was acting as a middleman deceiving everybody. He is the villain of the whole piece, although perhaps Pope Paul VI is responsible, too."

Bugnini had unprecedented access to Pope Paul VI, at one point even daily meetings with him. So Bugnini's familiarity with Pope Paul VI was great. A conspiracy of historical proportions was about to be unleashed against the papacy, and Bugnini was in the way.

June 19, 1975

"In 1969, the Consilium was abolished and replaced by a new Congregation for Divine Worship with Bugnini still in the saddle. In 1975, after an explosive meeting on June 19th of indignant cardinals, the new Congregation was abruptly terminated and this time Bugnini was dismissed in disgrace." (Fr. July 31, 1975

"At the very moment when his power had reached its zenith, Archbishop Bugnini was in effect dismissed--this was his second fall--to the dismay of liberal Catholics throughout the world. What happened was that the Archbishop's entire Congregation was dissolved and merged with the Congregation for the Sacraments under the terms of Pope Paul's Apostolic Constitution Constans Nobis, published in L'Osservatore Romano (English edition) of July 31, 1975. January 4, 1976

On January 4, 1976, L'Osservatore Romano published the news that "Pope Paul" had appointed Archbishop Bugnini as nuncio to Iran.

1) Theories of Archbishop Bugnini being a freemason:

"Chiron looks at every piece of available evidence and reaches the conclusion that it is impossible to say with certainty whether Bugnini was or was not a Freemason; evidence adequate to a conviction is wanting. He mentions that the accusation arose from someone 'highly placed' in the Church’s hierarchy..." (Dr. Peter Kwasniewski, "What Bugnini Was Thinking When He Destroyed the Catholic Mass," February 5, 2019)

Did this accusation come from "highly placed" Cardinal Jean Villot, the Secretary of State?

2) Cardinal Stickler on Archbishop Bugnini's removal: "it was something far worse"

"...in the intriguing foreword, we learn of a 1996 interview in which Dom Alcuin Reid asked Cardinal Stickler if he believed that Bugnini was a Freemason and if this was the reason Paul VI dismissed him. 'No,' the cardinal replied, 'it was something far worse.' But His Eminence declined to reveal what the 'far worse' was — and, frankly, the concept of something 'far worse' than a Freemason opens frightening vistas of imagination." Cardinal Stickler was aware of Our Lady of the Roses message. Shrine workers had gone to Rome in 1986 and 1987 to meet with cardinals, encouraging them to have Pope John Paul II consecrate Russia in union with all the bishops of the world. One of the cardinals who accepted a meeting with the Shrine workers was Cardinal Stickler, who was told about the Bayside messages in this meeting.

I personally hand delivered a package of Bayside messages to Cardinal Stickler on February 22, 1992 at St. Agnes Church in New York City, after a pontifical high Mass. Several Shrine workers waited patiently for the cardinal after the Mass, in order to give him Bayside messages. After receiving a blessing from Cardinal Stickler, I personally handed him a package of Bayside messages, and pleaded with him to give these messages to Pope John Paul II. Cardinal Stickler accepted this package of Bayside messages.

The real reason I believe Archbishop Bugnini was removed from the Vatican

I have a theory about Bugnini being removed from his Congregation on June 19, 1975, and then removed to Iran.

Many Catholics believe that Archbishop Bugnini's removal from the Vatican congregation and new posting in Iran was a demotion, by an exasperated Pope Paul VI. This narrative claims that Bugnini's radical changes were just too much for the cardinals and Pope Paul VI.

Really? So why was Bugnini alone removed from his position?

Or was there a more plausible explanation for the removal of Bugnini? I believe that the introduction of the impostor pope was the real reason for Archbishop Bugnini's removal to Iran. I have several reasons to back up my theory.

With the conspiracy to insert the impostor pope within the Vatican, Archbishop Bugnini posed a serious roadblock and one of the greatest potential threats to exposing this conspiracy.

1) Archbishop Bugnini knew Pope Paul VI more than most Vatican officials. We know that Pope Paul VI had ordered Bugnini to give him daily updates on the work of the Consilium:

"He [Pope Paul VI] tried to control it personally by having Bugnini report to him at the close of every day of the five years that the Consilium was at work. He reviewed each day's agenda brought to him by Bugnini word by word, line by line, for one, two or even three hours." (Assault on the Roman Rite, Fr. John W. Mole, Homiletic & Pastoral Review, August-September 1996, p. 22)

So Archbishop Bugnini knew the face, voice and mannerisms of the true Pope Paul VI better than most.

If Bugnini had served his destructive role of altering the liturgy, but was not allowed in on the impostor pope plot, the Vatican conspirators (Cardinals Villot, Bennelli and Casaroli) would have to send Archbishop Bugnini away because he could expose their plot. Bugnini was a loose end; he would immediately discover Pope Paul VI was replaced by an impostor and blow the whistle on the conspiracy.

2) Archbishop Bugnini's removal precedes the introduction of the impostor pope, by only two months

The Congregation of the Sacraments was established on July 15, 1975. The Congregation for Divine Worship (headed by Archbishop Bugnini) was dissolved and merged with the new Congregation of the Sacraments. Bugnini had been appointed secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship by Pope Paul VI in May 1969.

But Archbishop Bugnini did not receive a position within the new Congregation of the Sacraments.

To go from head of a Vatican congregation, to having no Vatican position at all (not even a minor one), signaled a demotion.

Or, a plan to get Archbishop Bugnini out of the Vatican, out of the way.

The first Bayside message I can find that mentions the impostor pope is September 27, 1975.

So the timing for Bugnini's removal would be perfect for the conspiracy. There would have to be preparations within the Vatican, removal of key people, to allow this conspiracy to achieve its objective.

3) Pope Paul VI was already a prisoner in the Vatican when Archbishop Bugnini was removed from his position in July 1975. The decision was most likely made not by Pope Paul VI, but Cardinal Villot.

"You must increase your prayers for your Vicar. He is now a prisoner among his own. The faces of evil are many about him. They parade themselves, My child, as angels of light." (Our Lady, February 1, 1975)

July 25, 1972 - Vision of a cardinal and group of bishops with knives behind their backs, plotting against Pope Paul VI

August 5, 1972: "The Holy Father will soon undergo a great trial"

"The Holy Father will soon undergo a great trial. You will all gather round him and support him on his cross. You will not set up the machinery for the entrance of satan's agent onto the Seat of Peter, for when you do you have reached the beginning of the end!" (St. Peter, August 5, 1972)

December 30, 1972: "Jacinta warned you of the affairs of Rome"

"Jacinta warned you of the affairs of Rome. Now one remains to be fulfilled, the secret of Heaven and earth. I have entrusted you with this already, and I have asked you to prepare yourself and those you love for this eventuality." (Our Lady, December 30, 1972)

1973: Pope Paul VI was drugged

Veronica - Now I am...Our Lady is taking me into a bedroom. Oh! I see sisters—they're nurses—in the bedroom. Oh, and there—I can see him in his bed—is the Holy Father. The nurse now has a needle, and she's rolling up now the sleeve. He has on...it looks like a robe, the Holy Father, and she's giving him a needle in his arm. He...and he looks very sick. Now the needle was placed into his left arm, into his left arm. Now as the needle is placed into his left arm, Pope Paul is reaching over onto a table near his bed. He's reaching for his crucifix. He's placing it across his chest. (April 14, 1973)

"Medication of evil has dulled the brain of the true Pope, Pope Paul VI. They send into his veins poison, to dull his reasoning and paralyze his legs." (Our Lady, September 27, 1975)

February 5, 1974: Cardinal Mindszenty of Hungary removed from office

On October 23, 1971 Pope Paul VI concelebrated Mass with with the anti-communist hero Cardinal Mindszenty. Pope Paul gave Cardinal Mindszenty his own cardinal's mantle and told him in Latin, "You are and remain Archbishop of Esztergom and Primate of Hungary. Continue working and if you have difficulties, turn trustfully to us!"

The Cardinal returned to his pastoral tours around the world. But on February 5, 1974, something unbelievable occurred: he received a letter from the "Pope" declaring the See of Esztergom vacant. The Vatican announced to the world that Cardinal Mindszenty had "retired." The Vatican had lied to the world in a public statement. In profound sorrow Cardinal Mindszenty had to make clear that he had not abdicated, but had been deposed. His Memoirs end with the words: "This is how I arrived at complete and total exile."

The Vatican was flooded with protests and the free world's press attacked the deposition of Cardinal Mindszenty with fury.

April 1974: Pope Paul VI refuses to sign a certain document, Cardinals say they will "wait until later"

Veronica - Now I see... it's growing very light. Oh, I've never been over there, but I recognize... and I'm standing with Our Lady in a very large area. It's . . . I'm looking at a very large church. I recognize it's St. Peter's. And Our Lady now is taking me by the hand, and She's pointing up to a building. And now we're going into the building. And I see... oh, I see Pope Paul. Oh, he's sitting in a very awkward position in his chair. He looks like he's sort of hanging over his chair.

Now there are two men coming in. They're dressed in purple and red, sort of. They have like little round, like yarmulkes, round hats on their heads. And they're going and they're propping him up. I don't know what's wrong with him. They're propping him up in the seat. He looks like he's half asleep, or something. Oh, he does look very sick; he looks very sick.

Now they're taking his hand, and they're putting a pen in his hand. And they are shouting something at him: "Sign it! Sign it!" And now I see Pope Paul. He's raising his head and he's looking at them very groggily, like there's something wrong with him. And he's leaning forward, and he's trying to read a paper on the desk. But now he fell across the desk. And now the two men have pulled him up. They look like bishops or something. They have belts about their waists, made of like cords with tassels. Now they've pulled him up and sat him back on the chair. And they're taking his hand now and placing it over the paper. And he's shaking his head, no! No! No!

Then they--oh, the man on the right now has taken the paper and he's speaking to the other man. I don't recognize them; I never saw them before. And he's saying: "We'll wait until later." And now they're going out.

And Our Lady now is putting Her fingers to Her lips, and we're leaving the room. And Our Lady now is saying:

Our Lady - "My child, there is great deception in the Holy City. Pray much for your Vicar. He is under great trial. Enemies surround him. And on one hand, My child, can you count those who can be trusted." (April 6, 1974)

April 13, 1974: Satan has entered into the House of God

"My child, you cannot keep from fulfilling your mission to bring the Message of Heaven by holding back the truth. Go forward, My child, now, and bring this message to the world: satan has entered into the House of God. He rules now from the highest places. The world and the Church of God is in deep darkness. Those who are in command—many have fallen away. Pray, My children, much, for with your prayers and sacrifices they, too, can be recovered.” (Our Lady, April 13, 1974)

May 1974: Pope Paul VI signs the document

Veronica - Now it's growing dark. And Our Lady is pointing with Her finger over to the left side of the flagpole. Oh, I see the inside of a large room. And sitting at a desk I can see Pope Paul. He's signing a paper. Now he's placed the pen down and he's going over to a kneeler; he has a kneeler before a very large statue of Our Lady. Oh! He is... I don't understand his words.

Now Our Lady is coming over, and She is saying:

Our Lady - "I will repeat them for you, My child. The heart of your Vicar cries in anguish, 'Mother Immaculate, give me the strength to persevere in the days ahead. You have made it known to me the way of the cross. I shall accept the will of the Father.'"

August 21, 1974: Cardinal Villot censoring, rewriting Pope Paul VI's mail

"V. [Cardinal Villot] does much damage to the Holy Father by changing his correspondence. V. rewrites his letters. V. censors his mail. He did not, my child, receive the medals you sent to him. He did not receive your correspondence, my child. The Holy Father shall receive his knowledge from Mary, the Queen of Heaven and his Mother." (St. Michael, August 21, 1974)

October 1974: "Notificatio" document appears

The "Notificatio" from the Congregation of Divine Worship of October 28, 1974, in which it is claimed that the new rite (Novus Ordo Mass) is obligatory "notwithstanding any custom whatsoever, even immemorial."

September 6, 1975: Pope Paul VI - the enemy within planning to remove him, his hands are tied

"Yes, My child, the tears are falling from Heaven. We see a plot against Our beloved Vicar. We see the enemy within planning to remove him. Already, My child, his hands are tied." (Our Lady, September 6, 1975)

"My child, I bring to you a sad truth, one that must be made known to mankind. In doing this, My child, you must proceed without fear. It must be made known to mankind. Our dear beloved Vicar, Pope Paul VI, he suffers much at the hands of those he trusts. My child, shout it from the rooftops. He is not able to do his mission. They have laid him low, My child. He is ill, he is very ill. Now there is one who is ruling in his place, an impostor, created from the minds of the agents of satan. Plastic surgery, My child—the best of surgeons were used to create this impostor. Shout from the rooftops! He must be exposed and removed.

PROPHECY FULFILLED: September 5, 1978 - John Paul I welcomes Msgr. Nikodim, Orthodox Metropolitan of Leningrad, who would die suddenly during the papal audience. The Pope, kneeling beside him, would then recite prayers for the absolution of his sins. (Read more*)

* Did Our Lady of the Roses predict the assassination of Msgr. Nikodim?

Msgr. Nikodim, Orthodox Metropolitan of Leningrad, died suddenly during John Paul I's September 5, 1978 audience. The following excerpt is from Frère François de Marie des Anges' book, Fatima: Tragedy and Triumph, Vol. IV:

September 5, 1978. John Paul I welcomes Msgr. Nikodim, Orthodox Metropolitan of Leningrad, who would die suddenly during the audience. The Pope, kneeling beside him, would then recite prayers for the absolution of his sins.

On September 7, in his address to Rome’s clergy, John Paul I would temporarily abandon the text of his talk to declare with great emotion: "Two days ago, the Metropolitan of Leningrad died in Our arms. I was just replying to his address. I assure you that never in my life have I ever heard such beautiful words on the Church as his. I cannot repeat them; they remain a secret. I am still struck by them. He was an Orthodox, but how he loved the Church. I believe he suffered greatly for the Church in his enormous efforts for unity."

* Just as a confirmation of this "common knowledge" statement by Our Lady, years ago at one of the Bayside message tours of the United States, a reporter in the audience acknowledged that photographer journalists at the Vatican were aware of this, noticing the clearly different facial features of the impostor pope, compared to the real Pope Paul VI. The German author Theodor Kolberg produced two books on the impostor pope (Umsturz im Vatikan?--Overthrow in the Vatican?--in 1975 and The Deception of the Century in 1977). Furthermore, a solemn Church exorcism in Switzerland also exposed the existence of the impostor pope. Transcription of a taped statement in October 1989 by Mrs. Anne De Lacey of Philadelphia, PA describing an experience of her sister, an Immaculate Heart nun, regarding the double for Pope Paul VI in Rome:

"My sister is an Immaculate Heart nun. And for the past ten years she has been stationed in the summertime down at Stone Harbor, their retreat house, which seems like an act of God, because she believes in Bayside. It used to be she would be sent to some parish up in New York or something to teach CCD in the summertime. She wouldn't see any of the other nuns. But since she's been down at the shore she gets to see almost all the two thousand nuns that come down there for their vacation and retreat.

"So she has spread the message of Bayside to a lot of them, and quite a few believe. She even gave it to the Mother Superior, and she used to ask her to read them to her when she would be driving home, you know. But she wrote and told the local nun that she couldn't go to Bayside anymore. And she asked the Superior 'If you want to read these and believe these, why won't you let me go to Bayside?' And she said, 'Well, I can't go above the Bishop of Brooklyn.' The Mother Superior believed, but she couldn't go above the Bishop.

"Well anyway, back to the other story. So she told a lot of the nuns about the 'impostor pope' and such. And this one time she was in a little room. And she always gets messages from me and gives them to the nuns that do believe. And she was telling them something about Bayside, and another nun who does not believe--she had heard about it, and said, 'I don't believe that!'--she popped into the room, and she has my sister's book or something from the chapel. She said, 'Well, you left this book in the chapel.' She said, 'What are you telling them now?' So my sister told her, 'You'd never believe what I'm telling them now.' (Because she didn't believe anything else.) She said, 'What are you telling them?' She said, 'I'm telling them about the impostor pope.' She said, 'Oh, you mean two popes in Rome?' She said, 'Yes.' And she said, 'That I'll believe.'

"Now this nun who will not believe anything else said, 'I will believe that.' So all the nuns said, 'You will believe that one, well how come you don't believe the rest? How can you believe that?' She said, 'Well, I was in Rome for the canonization of St. John Neumann.' (cannonized June 19, 1977) And she said, 'after the Mass was over--it was said by the real Pope Paul VI; he was old and feeble. And after the Mass he started coming down the steps from the altar, two priests on either side of him helping him, and they walked over to the side of St. Peter's Square and went into a door on the side.' This nun saw them going in, and then she saw other people going in that door where the Pope went. So she thought I'm going to go in there too. So she walked over, went in this room, and she saw the Pope right in there. But she didn't have a little VIP badge on like all the other people did, so this guard came over and he said, 'Sister,' he said, 'this is a reception for dignitaries from around the world.' And he said, 'You don't have the right badge, so I'll have to ask you to go out again.'

"Now she just saw him, Pope Paul VI, in that room. She walked back out on St. Peter's Square. She looked up, because all the people were looking up at the balcony. She looked up and she saw another pope, blessing the people. And my sister said, 'How come, if you saw this with your own eyes, the two popes, how come you don't believe in Bayside?' So--she's not enlightened, she doesn't have the grace--she said, 'Oh, all important people have stand-ins." So that was her explanation. She wouldn't believe, even after seeing it. But all those nuns in that room heard her say she saw those two popes."

We present below three mysterious incidents that all bear a common thread: seemingly inexplicable behavior and/or the reversal of a previous promise on the part of Pope Paul VI. We know from Our Lady of the Roses message the explanation: the overthrow of Pope Paul VI’s papacy, what Our Lady of the Roses has called “the deception of the century.” Also worthy of note is the observation of Solange Hertz that Pope Paul VI had reversed himself in his condemnation of Pentecostalism, something perplexing indeed: "So difficult were the antics in St. Peter's to reconcile with Paul VI's previously known position on pentecostalism, that many who heard about the incident began seriously entertaining a theory then current of an impostor Pope who impersonated Giovanni Montini under the direction of enemies of the Faith in the Vatican."

Cardinal Gagnon and Pope Paul VI

Alice von Hildebrand reports the following incident in an interview with Latin Mass magazine (Summer 2001). In this interview, she mentions the Italian priest Don Luigi Villa (diocese of Brescia), who published two books in 1998 and 2000. Fr. Villa, at the request of Padre Pio, has devoted many years of his life to the investigation of the infiltration of both Freemasons and Communists into the Church:

“Another of Don Villa’s illustrations of infiltration is one related to him by Cardinal Gagnon. Paul VI had asked Gagnon to head an investigation concerning the infiltration of the Church by powerful enemies. Cardinal Gagnon (at that time an Archbishop) accepted this unpleasant task, and compiled a long dossier, rich in worrisome facts. When the work was completed, he requested an audience with Pope Paul in order to deliver personally the manuscript to the Pontiff. This request for a meeting was denied. The Pope sent word that the document should be placed in the offices of the Congregation for the Clergy, specifically in a safe with a double lock. This was done, but the very next day the safe deposit box was broken and the manuscript mysteriously disappeared. The usual policy of the Vatican is to make sure that news of such incidents never sees the light of day. Nevertheless, this theft was reported even in L’Osservatore Romano (perhaps under pressure because it had been reported in the secular press). Cardinal Gagnon, of course, had a copy, and once again asked the Pope for a private audience. Once again his request was denied. He then decided to leave Rome and return to his homeland in Canada. Later, he was called back to Rome by Pope John Paul II and made a cardinal.” (Latin Mass Magazine, Summer 2001)

The betrayal of Cardinal Mindzenty

The story surrounding the valiant shepherd, Cardinal Mindszenty of Hungary (left in photo), adds another dimension to the usurpation of Pope Paul VI's pontificate. This saintly Cardinal suffered imprisonment and torture in his home country of Hungary, speaking out and trying to defend his flock first from Nazism and then from the ravages of communism. In fact, Cardinal Mindszenty suffered at the hands of the communists tortures lasting 39 consecutive days and nights, consisting of sleep-deprivation and every conceivable outrage. In 1956, as communism tightened its grip on the Church in Hungary, Cardinal Mindszenty was given asylum at the American Embassy in Budapest by President Eisenhower. The Cardinal languished there for fifteen years, unable to leave the building. Communist agents awaited him day and night, to assassinate him should he leave the embassy.

On September 28, 1971 the world heard that Cardinal Mindszenty had arrived in Rome at the invitation of Pope Paul VI. He was received with real joy and tenderness by Pope Paul. The Holy Father embraced Cardinal Mindszenty and hung his own pectoral cross around his neck. They both concelebrated Mass and the Holy Father spoke of the Cardinal as "a guest we have awaited with longing ... a symbol of unshakeable strength rooted in faith and in selfless devotion to the Church."

On October 23, 1971 Pope Paul VI again concelebrated Mass with Cardinal Mindszenty. Pope Paul gave Mindszenty his own cardinal's mantle and told him in Latin, "You are and remain Archbishop of Esztergom and Primate of Hungary. Continue working and if you have difficulties, turn trustfully to us!"

The Cardinal returned to his pastoral tours around the world. But on February 5, 1974, something unbelievable occurred: he received a letter from the "Pope" declaring the See of Esztergom vacant. The Vatican announced to the world that Cardinal Mindszenty had "retired." The Vatican had lied to the world in a public statement. In profound sorrow Cardinal Mindszenty had to make clear that he had not abdicated, but had been deposed. His Memoirs end with the words: "This is how I arrived at complete and total exile."

The Vatican was flooded with protests and the free world's press attacked the deposition of Cardinal Mindszenty with fury.

Exactly what did happen? How could Pope Paul VI have betrayed his promise to Cardinal Mindszenty? Did Pope Paul VI really depose Cardinal Mindszenty on February 5, 1974? This is extremely unlikely, in light of a message given on August 21, 1974 (the "V" in the quote below represents Cardinal Villot, the Secretariat of State):

"V does much damage to the Holy Father by changing his correspondence. V rewrites his letters. V censors his mail." - August 21, 1974

"You cannot accept now what comes from Rome, for they do not come, these bulls, and these directions are not written by the pen of Pope Paul VI. They are written by the pen of Benelli and Villot."

Was the February 5, 1974 letter sent to Cardinal Mindszenty written by Cardinal Villot? Considering Pope Paul VI's tremendous support of Cardinal Mindszenty and his promise in 1971, this explanation would fit with Our Lady of the Roses message, and the real Third Secret of Fatima.

Archbishop Lefebvre: meeting of September 11, 1976

The following account of Archbishop Lefebvre's audience with “Pope Paul VI” (actually the impostor pope) on September 11, 1976, is entirely in the Archbishop's own words:

“I tell you quite sincerely that this meeting with the Pope was for me altogether unexpected. Certainly I had been wanting it for several years. I had asked to meet the Holy Father, to talk to him about my seminary, my work - I might say to give him joy because I was still able, in spite of the circumstances, to manage to form some priests, to help the Church in the formation of priests. But I never succeeded. I was always told that the Pope had not time to receive me. Then, little by little, when the seminary was penalized, the difficulties were obviously greater, with the result that I was never able to get through the bronze door. But after those events (the suppression of the seminary and the suppression of the Fraternity) the condition set for my seeing the Holy Father was that I submit to the Council, the post-conciliar reforms, and the post-conciliar orientations desired by the Holy Father - that is, practically, the closure of my seminary. That I did not accept. I could not accept the closure of my seminary or the cessation of ordinations in the seminary, because I consider that I am doing constructive work, I am building the Church, not pulling it down, though the demolition is going on all around me. I consider that I cannot in conscience collaborate in the destruction of the Church. That brought us to a complete deadlock: on the one side the Holy See was imposing conditions which meant the closure of the seminary, and on the other side I would not have the seminary closed. It seemed, therefore, that dialogue was impossible. Then, as you know, that penalty of suspension a divinis was imposed, which is very serious in the Church, especially for a bishop: it means that I am forbidden to perform acts corresponding to my episcopal ordination - no Mass, no sacraments, no administering of sacraments. Very serious. That shocked public opinion, and it so happened that a current of opinion was formed in my favor. It was not I who sought it: it was the Holy See itself which gave tremendous publicity to the suspension and to the seminary. You represent all the means for the diffusion of news, and it was your job to give people what they wanted by speaking of this event. That set moving a wave of opinion which, to say the least, was unexpected by the Vatican.

So the Vatican found itself in a rather delicate and tiresome situation in face of public opinion, and that, I think or least imagine, is why the Pope wanted to see me after all, but not officially through the usual channels: I did not see Mgr. Martin, who usually arranges audiences, nor did I meet Cardinal Villot - I met no one. It so happened that I was at Besançon preparing for Mass when I was told: "There is a priest come from Rome who would like to see you after Mass. It is very urgent and very important." I said: "I'll see him after Mass."

So after Mass we retired to a corner of the room where we happened to be, and this priest, Don Domenico La Bellarte I think - I did not know him, having never in my life set eyes on him - said to me: "The Archbishop of Chieti, my superior, saw the Holy Father recently, and the Holy Father expressed a desire to see you." I said to him: "Look, I've been wanting to see the Holy Father for five years. They always impose conditions, and they will impose the same conditions again. I do not see why I should go to Rome now." [note: Our Lady of the Roses message, and the REAL Third Secret of Fatima, mentions that satan would enter Rome in the year 1972]​ He insisted, saying: "There has been a change. Something has changed at Rome in the situation with regard to you." "Very well. If you can assure me that the Archbishop of Chieti will accompany me to the Holy Father, I have never refused to see the Holy Father and I am willing to go."

I then promised him that I would go to Rome as soon as possible. I had the ceremony at Fanjeaux, so I went to Fanjeaux, so I went to Fanjeux and afterwards went direct by car to Rome. I tried to get in touch with that priest, and I met him in Rome, where he said to me: "You had better, all the same, write a bit of a letter to the Holy Father which I can give to Mgr. Macchi, his secretary, and then you will be able to see the Holy Father." I said: "But what sort of letter? There is no question of my asking pardon or saying that I accept beforehand whatever will be imposed on me. I will not accept that." Then he said to me: "Write anything. Put something on paper and I'll take it at once to Castelgandolfo." I wrote expressing my deep respect for the person of the Holy Father and saying that if there were, in the expressions I had used in speeches and writings, anything displeasing to the Holy Father, I regretted them; that I was always ready to be received, and hope to be received, by the Holy Father. I signed the letter, and that was that.1 The priest did not even read the little note I had written but put it in an envelope. I addressed the envelope to the Holy Father and we set off for Castelgandolfo. He went in to the palace. We remained a while outside. He went to see Mgr. Macchi, who said to him: "I cannot give you an answer at once. I will let you know about seven this evening." That was last Thursday evening. And in fact at seven I got a telephone call in my house at Albano. I was told: "You will have an audience with the Holy Father tomorrow at ten-thirty."

So, the next day, Saturday, at quarter past ten, I went to Castelgandolfo, and there I really believe the Holy Angels had driven out the Vatican employees because I had come back there: there were two Swiss Guards at the entrance, and after that I encountered only Mgr X (not Mgr. Y: their names are very alike). Mgr. X, the Canadian, conducted me to the lift. Only the lift man was there, that is all, and I went up. The three of us went up to the first floor, and there, accompanied by Mgr. X, I went through all the rooms: there are at least seven or eight before you come to the Holy Father's office. Not a living soul! Usually - I have often been to private audience in the days of Pope Pius XI, Pope Pius XII, Pope John XXIII, and even Pope Paul VI - there is always at least one Swiss Guard, always a gendarme, always several people: a private chamberlain, a monseigneur who is present if only to keep an eye on things and prevent incidents. But the rooms were empty - nothing, absolutely nothing. So I went to the Holy Father's office, where I found the Holy Father with Mgr. Benelli at his side. I greeted the Holy Father and I greeted Mgr. Benelli. We seated ourselves at once, and the audience began.

The Holy Father was lively enough at the beginning - one could almost call it somewhat violent in a way: one could feel that he was deeply wounded and rather provoked by what we are doing. He said to me:

"You condemn me, you condemn me. I am a Modernist. I am a Protestant. It cannot be allowed, you are doing an evil work, you ought not to continue, you are causing scandal in the Church, etc..." with nervous irritability.

I kept quiet, you may be sure. After that he said to me:

"Well, speak now, speak. What have you to say?"

I said to him:

"Holy Father, I come here, but not as the head of the traditionalists. You have said I am head of the traditionalists. I deny flatly that I am head of the traditionalists. I am only a Catholic, a priest, a bishop, among millions of Catholics, thousands of priests and other bishops who are torn and pulled apart in conscience, in mind, in heart. On the one side we desire to submit to you entirely, to follow you in everything, to have no reserves about your person, and on the other side we are aware that the lines taken by the Holy See since the Council, and the whole new orientation, turn us away from your predecessors. What then are we to do? We find ourselves obliged either to attach ourselves to your predecessors or to attach ourselves to your person and separate ourselves from your predecessors. For Catholics to be torn like that is unheard of, unbelievable. And it is not I who have provoked that, it is not a movement made by me, it is a feeling that comes from the hearts of the faithful, millions of the faithful whom I do not know. I have no idea how many there are. They are all over the world, everywhere. Everybody is uneasy about this upset that has happened in the Church in the last ten years, about the ruins accumulating in the Church. Here are examples: there is a basic attitude in people, an interior attitude which makes them now unchangeable. They will not change because they have chosen: they have made their choice for Tradition and for those who maintain Tradition. There are examples like that of the religious Sisters I saw two days ago, good religious who wish to keep their religious life, who teach children as their parents want them to be taught - many parents bring their children to them because they will receive a Catholic education from these religious. So, here are religious keeping their religious habit; and just because they wish to preserve the old prayer and to keep the old catechism they are excommunicated. The Superior General has been dismissed. The bishop has been five times, requiring them to abandon their religious habit because they have been reduced to the lay state. People who see that do not understand. And, side by side with that, nuns who discard their habit, return to all the worldly vanities, no longer have a religious rule, no longer pray - they are officially approved by bishops, and no one says a word against them! The man in the street, the poor Christian, seeing these things cannot accept them. That is impossible. Then it is the same for priests. Good priests who say their Mass well, who pray, who are to be found in the confessional, who preach true doctrine, who visit the sick, who wear their soutane, who are true priests loved by their people because they keep the Old Mass, the Mass of their ordination, who keep the old catechism, are thrown on the street as worthless creatures, all but excommunicated. And then priests go into factories, never dress as priests so that there is no knowing what they are, preach revolution - and they are officially accepted, and nobody says anything to them. As for me, I am in the same case. I try to make priests, good priests as they were made formerly; there are many vocations, the young men are admired by the people who see them in trains, on the underground; they are greeted, admired, congratulated on their dress and bearing; and I am suspended a divinis! And the bishops who have no more seminarians, no young priests, nothing, and whose seminaries no longer make good priests - nothing is said to them! You understand; the poor average Christian sees it clearly. He has chosen and he will not budge. He has reached his limit. It is impossible."

"That is not true. You do not train good priests," he said to me, "because you make them take an oath against the Pope."

"What!" I answered. "An oath against the Pope? I who, on the contrary, try to give them respect for the Pope, respect for the successor of Peter! On the contrary, we pray for the Holy Father, and you will never be able to show me this oath which they take against the Pope. Can you give me a copy of it?"

And now, officially, the Vatican spokesmen have published in today's paper, where you can read it, the Vatican denial, saying that it is not true, that the Holy Father did not say that to me: the Holy Father did not say to me that I made my seminarians and young priests take an oath against the Pope. But how could I have invented that? How invent anything of the kind? It is unthinkable. But now they deny it: the Holy Father did not say it. It is incredible. And obviously I have no tape recording. I did not write out the whole conversation, so I cannot prove the contrary materially. But my very reaction! I cannot forget how I reacted to that assertion by the Holy Father. I can still see myself gesturing and saying: "But how, Holy Father, can you possibly say such a thing! Can you show me a copy of the oath?" And now they are saying it is not true. It is extraordinary!

Then the Holy Father said to me, further:

"It is true, is it not, that you condemn me?"

I had the strong impression that it all came back rather to his person, that he was personally hurt:

"You condemn me, so what ought I to do? Must I hand in my resignation and let you take my place?"

"Oh!" I put my head in my hands.

"Holy Father, do not say such things. No, no, no, no!" I then said:

"Holy Father, let me continue. You have the solution of the problem in your hands. You need say only one word to the bishops: receive fraternally, with understanding and charity all those groups of traditionalists, all those who wish to keep the prayer of former days, the sacraments as before, the catechism as before. Receive them, give them places of worship, settle with them so that they can pray and remain in relation with you, in intimate relation with their bishops. You need say only one word to the bishops and everything will return to order and at that moment we shall have no more problems. Things will return to order. As for the seminary, I myself shall have no difficulty in going to the bishops and asking them to implant my priests in their dioceses: things will be done normally. I myself am very willing to renew relations with a commission you could name from the Congregation of Religious to come to the seminary. But clearly we shall keep and wish to continue the practice of Tradition. We should be allowed to maintain that practice. But I want to return to normal and official relations with the Holy See and with the Congregations. Beyond that I want nothing.”

He then said to me:

“I must reflect, I must pray, I must consult the Consistory, I must consult the Curia. I cannot give you an answer. We shall see.”

After that he said to me: "We will pray together."

I said: "Most willingly, Holy Father."

We then said the Pater Noster, Veni Creator, and an Ave Maria, and he then led me back very pleasantly, but with difficulty - his walk was painful, and he dragged his legs a little. In the room to the side he waited until Domenico came for me; and he had a small medal given to Don Domenico. We then left. Mgr. Benelli did not open his mouth; he did nothing but write all the time, like a secretary. He did not bother me at all. It was as though Mgr. Benelli were not present. I think it did not trouble the Holy Father, just as it did not trouble me, because he did not open his mouth, and gave no sign. I then said twice again that he had the solution of the problem in his hands. He then showed his satisfaction at having had this interview, this dialogue. I said I was always at his disposal. We then left.

Since then, they are now relating what they like in the newspapers, the most fantastic inventions - that I accepted everything, that I made a complete submission; then they said it was all to the contrary - that I had accepted nothing and conceded nothing. Now they are telling me, in effect, that I lied, that I am inventing things in the conversation I had with the Holy Father. My impression is that they are so furious that this audience took place unforeseen, without going through the usual channels, that they are trying in every way to discredit it, and to discredit me as well. Clearly they are afraid that this audience puts me back in favor with many people, who are saying: Now, if Monseigneur has seen the Holy Father, there are no more problems: he is back again with the Holy Father. In fact, we have never been against the Holy Father and have always wanted to be with the Holy Father.

Moreover, I have just written to him again because Cardinal Thiandoum was so insistent on that so that he could have a short note from me to take to the Holy Father. I said to him: "Good. I am ready to write a short letter to the Holy Father (though I am beginning to think that this correspondence is endless), I want to thank the Holy Father for granting me this audience." I did that, and thanked the Holy Father.

"My child, I bring to you a sad truth, one that must be made known to mankind .... Our dear beloved Vicar, Pope Paul VI, he suffers much at the hands of those he trusts...

"There is the knowledge of what is taking place, in Rome. There is a great knowledge now spreading in the Eternal City. Pray, My children, a constant vigilance of prayer as We approach with the message a high dignitary, one of great power, and one who is wielding the rod over others under him in the Eternal City of Rome. Pray for his conversion back to the truth and the light. You do not wish, My children, to see him pass over the veil without penance and contrition, for he will be claimed by satan.

June 4, 1977: "The man called Benelli"

"Already in Rome, as I gave you in the past, the man called Benelli has come forward to approach the seat of Peter and to bring upon Rome the full reign of 666 on the seat of Peter! I beg you, I implore you, as your Mother, to listen! I have warned you now upon your earth; I have come to you as a Mediatrix between God and man, imploring you to listen to My counsel and My direction. The forces of hell are loosed upon your earth now." (Our Lady, June 4, 1977)

December 31, 1977: Fatima message suppressed - "Why did you not give My message to the world as I gave it to you? Pride and arrogance!"

"My children, why did you avoid giving My counsel to the world? O you of little faith in the high places of My Son's House, His Church, why did you not give My message to the world as I gave it to you? Pride and arrogance! That is why, My children." (Our Lady, December 31, 1977)

May 13, 1978: The REAL Third Secret

"How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." (Our Lady, May 13, 1978)

Vision of Jacinta:

We know from the writings of Sister Lucy in her Memoirs that Jacinta saw a vision of the Holy Father, the same Holy Father mentioned in the Third Secret of Fatima:

One day (Lucy says) we spent our siesta down by my parents' well. Jacinta sat on the stone slabs on top of the well. Francisco and I climbed up a steep bank in search of wild honey among the brambles in a nearby thicket.

After a little while, Jacinta called out to me: "Didn't you see the Holy Father?" "No." "I don't know how it happened, but I saw the Holy Father in a very big house, kneeling by a table, with his head buried in his hands, and he was weeping. Outside the house, there were many people. Some of them were throwing stones, others were cursing him and using bad language. Poor Holy Father, we must pray very much for him."

One day, (Lucy continues) two priests recommended us to pray for the Holy Father, and explained to us who the Pope was. Afterwards, Jacinta asked me: "Is he the one I saw weeping, the one Our Lady told us about in the Secret?" "Yes, he is."

Bayside holds the key:

The big question is: which Holy Father did Jacinta see? From Our Lady of the Roses message we have the interpretation from Our Lady herself, and Jacinta, who both appeared at Bayside to shed light on this very important vision:

"I ask you again to pray for your Holy Father [Pope Paul VI] in Rome. He is very ill. He needs many prayers, for he is being crucified by his own. He is truly the little one in the message of Jacinta.” (Our Lady, June 1, 1978)

"Yes, I tried to warn everyone of what was going to happen to the world of the future. Our Lady said that the little Father in Rome would suffer great persecution, but much of this persecution would come from his very own, those that he trusted. That is why the picture* was given to you to send the message throughout the world." (*see Jacinta 1972 picture below; Jacinta, June 8, 1974)

Our Lady of the Roses message on July 25, 1972 presented below is quite similar to the vision seen by Jacinta: (1) the Holy Father is in a large room, (2) he is weeping, (3) people are throwing rocks at him, and (4) he is kneeling and praying. The vision in the Bayside message is much closer to Jacinta's vision than that put forward by the Vatican on June 26th. In fact, the Vatican's version has none of these elements of Jacinta's vision, does not include "the one I saw weeping", and refers to the Holy Father merely as the "bishop dressed in white." Again, we emphasize that Our Lady of the Roses message states that Jacinta's vision was of Pope Paul VI:

Veronica - Oh! And I see some people asking Pope Paul to leave. He's in a—he's in a church, and he's praying to the Blessed Mother, and they're telling him to leave. And he's shaking his head no, no. Oh!

And Jesus just walked back now to the flagpole. And He says:

Jesus - "You will keep now a constant vigilance of prayer. These prayers will ransom some time for your Vicar who has offered himself as sacrifice for those who have fallen in his House."

Veronica - I see Pope Paul. He's sitting in a large room. There's a desk. But he doesn't look very well. He looks very sick. It seems like he can't seem to keep his eyes open. His head is falling to the right. And then he sits up, and he's falling to the left. Now he's leaning over on the table. Now there are screams outside. And people are shouting, and they're throwing all rocks, and they're trying to come in the door. And they're shouting. And Pope Paul—now he's walked over, and he's kneeling next to a statue of Our Lady. He's praying to Our Lady, and he's crying; tears are coming down his face. He looks awfully thin. The marks are still on his hands. I see him raising his hand up now above his head. Oh! Oh!

And outside the door there are cardinals, five cardinals; they are hiding knives behind their backs. And over by the window, looking in, is a man. He looks like a cardinal, but he's dressed in black. And he has a pillbox on his head, like, standing up. He also is holding a knife behind his back. And over on the right side, looking in the other window, I see a group of bishops. There are two, three, four, five—there are fifteen or sixteen bishops. They also are hiding knives behind their backs.

Now it's all faded away; I can't see any more. And Jesus says:

Jesus - "Now you will know why you must keep a constant vigilance of prayer, now until December. You will continue telling your beads for your Vicar." (July 25, 1972)

All of this makes perfect sense when we remember that Mother Godinho was told the Third Secret by Jacinta, and that a fragment of the true Third Secret remained in Mother Godinho's letter to Pope Pius XII, where she mentions the year "1972." (Read more*... Pope Paul VI, of course, was the Pope of 1972, the year when satan would enter the Vatican. We know this from Our Lady of the Roses message: "Satan, Lucifer in human form, entered into Rome in the year 1972." (Our Lady, September 7, 1978) And also, "I say this evening, as your God, that on that date, as promised at Fatima [1972], satan entered My Church upon earth." (Jesus, June 18, 1986)

I am the godmother of Jacinta Marto, the seer of Fatima, who made me privy to the following secret, which I have kept religiously for many years, but now as I feel death approaching, I wish to communicate it to Your Holiness. Under oath I guarantee that what I say expresses purely and simply what I heard from her, and which forms my secret. Here is the essential part. “Mother, tell the Holy Father that the world is troubled and Our Lady can no longer hold back the arm of Her beloved Son, Who is very offended by the sins committed in the world. If, however, the world decides to do penance, She would come to its aid again, but if not, chastisement would infallibly fall upon it, for its lack of obedience to the Holy Father.”

Jacinta then asked me to tell the Holy Father and His Excellency, the Bishop of Leiria, that the house I occupy at Fatima ought to be called, “the House of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima”, and that the sisters of this order, after their approval, were to take the name of “Claretian Sisters of Mother Mary da Costa,” and that they would keep united to the Vatican to prepare for the year 1972, because the sins of impurity, vanity, and excessive luxury would bring great chastisements to the world, which would cause great suffering to the Holy Father. “Poor Holy Father!” she would say.

I could hardly believe these things; but Jacinta insisted, saying: “Godmother, tell the Holy Father that Our Lady wishes this work to be the apple of the Holy Father’s eye, try therefore to talk to him about it”; and among other things she said: “Our Lady wants there to be at the Cova da Iria a house for Her, the Mother of God, and that the Sisters who go there imitate Her virtues, and expiate for the sins committed in other religious houses.” Among other things Our Lady told the seer: “In this house there will be rigorous silence, only what is absolutely necessary will be said, and nothing more; nothing will be done without permission of His Holiness, and the religious who live there under Our Lady’s roof will imitate the virtues of the Heavenly Mother; they will have no contact with the world and they will live a very retired life, and it will behoove them to pray particularly for the Holy Father, uniting all their penitential practices to the Vatican, for the intention of…”

I, a Sister of Saint Francis, Maria of the Purification, to whom the seer Jacinta revealed these things, understood nothing of these things, but it seems to me that she meant that wars would stop in the world only when men also finished.

At this moment I said to Jacinta that the Holy Father knew very well what he had to do and that Our Lord and Our Lady would inspire him so that it would be superfluous for me to tell him what the seer related to me. But she went on talking, and she said that the triumph of Our Lord still had to come, but beforehand there would be many tears, because in the world His Holy Will is not being accomplished. And she told me that she was distraught at not knowing how to express it better, but she wanted to try anyway: “There is a secret of Heaven and another of the earth, and the latter is frightening, it already seems like the end of the world and in this cataclysm everything will be isolated from Heaven, which will become white as snow.” [read more]*

Our Lady said that we must pray much and perform many “mortifications of the senses” (give up many things) because this is very pleasing to Our Lord, that we must love Our Lord with all our heart and respect priests because they are the salt of the earth, and their duty is to show souls the way to Heaven. She also recommended often to the seer that I do nothing without the permission of the Holy Father, and the Most Reverend Bishop of Leiria, and that Jacinta ask me to tell Your Holiness, among other things, that Our Lady appeared to me here at the orphanage several times, and that she also appeared to the seer, before the latter went to the hospital of D. Estefania, and at this moment Jacinta felt such harmony that it seemed to her that she was already in the presence of God, and already enjoyed eternal glory for all eternity.

This long but loyal exposition which I have made, being concluded, the humblest of your servants casts herself at the feet as she kisses your ring, full of respect.

Furthermore, a Shrine worker asked Veronica which date, 1960 or 1972, was the year that satan had entered the Church. Veronica said 1972 was the date, but she couldn't elaborate more because it dealt with the Third Secret of Fatima.

Sister Lucy to confirm Jacinta's words at Bayside:

We have the beautiful prediction from Our Lady that eventually Sister Lucy will be able to speak out, and that she (Sister Lucy) "will bear witness to her words, here at this Shrine":

Veronica - Jacinta will be beatified. And Our Lady said that Lucy will bear witness to her words, here at this Shrine! At this Shrine! She said that; that's what Our Lady said. Our Lady said Jacinta will be beatified. And Lucy will bear witness to her words, here at this Shrine. I don't know exactly . . .

And Our Lady said . . . She smiled and She said:

Our Lady - "That is all I will tell you, My child, at this time." (December 30, 1972)

The day after Sister Lucy's death, Vittorio Messori (an Italian journalist who interviewed John Paul II for his book Crossing the Threshold of Hope), wrote in the Italian daily Corriere della Serra that Sister Lucy's cell in the convent at Coimbra "has already been sealed" and that "whatever is enclosed there will be passed through the sieve of trusted theologians and monsignors sent, one supposes, by the same Cardinal Ratzinger who, as custodian of orthodoxy, must keep at bay visionary temptations which always reemerge." He also revealed in his article that according to the Bishop of Coimbra, Sister Lucy's now-sealed cell is where "she would have had other apparitions, where she kept a diary, where she wrote letters to the Pope, where she had undergone her mystical intuitions."

Perhaps through this diary Sister Lucy "will bear witness" that her cousin Jacinta did indeed appear at Our Lady of the Roses Shrine in Bayside, New York.

August 5, 1978 - Our Lady dressed in a black mantle

Veronica - Our Lady is coming forward, but She’s dressed in a very strange garment. Our Lady’s gown is a white, a brilliant white, but She has upon Her a mantle that covers Her head down to Her feet, but the mantle is a black. I have never seen Our Lady with a full black mantle on. It’s like you feel an “ominous” of warning. It’s a feeling of sadness about Our Lady.

PROPHECY FULFILLED: The next day, August 6, 1978, Pope Paul VI died. The pope's death came at 9:40 pm Rome time (2:40 pm CDT).

September 7, 1978: Lucifer "cut off the rule, the role of the Holy Father, Pope Paul VI"

"Satan, Lucifer in human form, entered into Rome in the year 1972. He cut off the rule, the role of the Holy Father, Pope Paul VI.” (Our Lady, September 7, 1978)

September 28, 1978: There is a plot against the new Vicar, Pope John Paul I

“My child and My children, I am not intending to go through a long discourse with you on the present state of My Church in Rome. Suffice it to say that 666, Lucifer and his agents, will make a concerted effort to dethrone the present Vicar.* In his plan, the plan of Lucifer, he seeks to unite My Church with the world, and this I shall not permit.” (Jesus, September 28, 1978)

* Pope John Paul I was found dead the next morning.

October 6, 1978: "A conclave shall start..."

"My children, a conclave shall start, and without prayers you will receive one on the seat of Peter, one with dark spirits, consorting with the devil." (Our Lady, October 6, 1978)

PROPHECY FULFILLED: Cardinal Benelli was 5 votes short of becoming pope, but with sufficient prayer, Cardinal Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II, was elected instead. (Read more*)

For the sake of brevity, we will focus on only four cardinals: Cardinals Villot, Benelli, Casaroli, and Sodano. Three of these Cardinals have held the office of the Secretariat of State, the second highest position in the Catholic Church. Our Lady of the Roses mentioned three of these men by name on September 27, 1975:

"Antonio Casaroli, you shall condemn yourself to hell! Giovanni Benelli, what road have you taken? You are on the road to hell and damnation! Villot, leader of evil, take yourself from among those traitors; you are not unknown to the Eternal Father. You consort with the synagogue of satan. Do you think you shall not pay for the destruction of souls in My Son's House?" (Our Lady, September 27, 1975)

Cardinal Villot

Fr. Jesus Lopez Saez, in his book Se Pedira Cuenta, reports that 30% of Italians are convinced that John Paul I was assassinated (about 15 million people). The convictions of these people are confirmed by Our Lady of the Roses: “We will go back, My child, in history, a short history, and remember well what had happened in Rome to John, Pope John, whose reign lasted 33 days. O My child, it is history now, but it is placed in the book that lists the disasters in mankind. He received the horror and martyrdom by drinking from a glass. Veronica - Our Lady now is pointing up to the left side of the sky, and over on the left side I can see two cardinals. They are walking toward each other. Each has the key, a very large golden key in his hand, like this. Now they’re standing in front of each other, and they’re crossing the keys, like this. Two cardinals. Now they’re pointing now with the keys over to the right of them, and over on the right there is the building, a very large building. It appears to be St. Peter’s. Yes, it’s a domed building. It is St. Peter’s, the Vatican.

Now they’re pointing upward with the keys, high over their heads. And in the sky over the keys I can see the numbers of “666” forming. The letterings are black, tinged in red on the outside, “666.” Now it’s beginning to fade away, the whole scene, as though it’s like blowing, evaporating. It’s completely, almost completely gone now.

Our Lady is motioning now to listen.

Our Lady - “My child, you will understand soon the meaning of this message. You must pray now for your new Vicar. There is a foul plan afoot against him.”

Yet another book has been written on the suspicious death of Pope John Paul I, this time by a Spanish priest named Father Jesus Lopez Saez. Building upon the work of David Yallop, Father Saez writes:

After almost three years of research, David Yallop wrote, in his book In God's Name (1984), that the precise circumstances attending the discovery of the body of John Paul I "eloquently demonstrate that the Vatican practiced a disinformation campaign." The Vatican told one lie after another: "Lies about little things, lies about big things. All these lies had but one purpose: to disguise the fact that Albino Luciani, Pope John Paul I, had been assassinated." Pope Luciani "received the palm of martyrdom because of his convictions."

Sister Vicenza

Sister Vicenza found the Holy Father dead at approximately 4:45 a.m. on September 29, 1978 and was forced to keep silent by the Secretariat of State, Cardinal Villot, who imposed a vow of silence upon her to cover-up the whole affair. The secretaries were likewise forbidden to advise anyone of the events without Cardinal Villot's authorization. A trustworthy person conveyed to Fr. Saez personally that Sister Vicenza had said, "But the world must know the truth."

Sister Vicenza gave two conflicting reports concerning the state that she first found Pope John Paul I. According to her breathless words to a group of French priests that same morning, it was "in his bathroom" that she had "found him dead." Yet another report (no doubt arranged by Cardinal Villot), says that Sister Vicenza entered the room and found the Pope sitting up in bed, "with an expression of agony" before he died. This discrepancy is very important: if it was determined that Sister Vicenza found the Holy Father dead in the bathroom, still in his papal robes, this would indicate that Pope John Paul I died shortly after his "toast" with Cardinal Villot the night of September 28, 1978.

Pope John Paul I's murder

David Yallop reconstructs the actions of Cardinal Villot and paints a very suspicious portrait. It is reported that at 5:00 a.m. Cardinal Villot confirmed the Holy Father's death. The Pope's glasses, slippers, and will disappeared, "none of these items has ever been seen again." Speculation is that there may have been vomit on the slippers, which if examined would identify poison as the cause of death.

Cardinal Villot (or an aide) telephoned the embalmers and a Vatican car was sent to fetch them. Incredibly, the car was at their door at 5:00 a.m.! What ensued in the following hour is still a mystery.

​

It was not until 6:00 a.m. that Dr. Buzzonati (not Professor Fontana, the head of the Vatican medical service), arrived and confirmed the death, without drawing up a death certificate. Dr. Buzzonati attributed the death to acute myocardial infarction (heart attack).

​

At about 6:30 a.m. Villot began to inform the cardinals, an hour and a half after the embalmers had arrived! Yallop notes that, for Cardinal Villot, the embalmers took precedence over the cardinals and the head of the Vatican medical service.

​

By 6 p.m. that evening, the Papal Apartments had been entirely polished and washed. Yallop writes that the secretaries packed up and carried away the Pope's clothes, "including his letters, notes, books and a small handful of personal mementos.... By 6:00 p.m., the entire 19 rooms of the Papal Apartments were totally bereft of anything remotely associated with the Papacy of Luciani."

Villot arranged for the embalming to be performed that evening, a procedure as unusual as it was illegal. Why the rush? It is also reported that during the embalming it was insisted that no blood was to be drained from the body, and neither were any of the organs to be removed. Yallop notes that "a small quantity of blood would of course have been more than sufficient for a forensic scientist to establish the presence of any poisonous substances."

An alibi for Cardinal Villot:

As the book In God's Name (more than 5 million copies sold) attracted worldwide attention, a disinformation campaign arose in 1984 to discredit David Yallop's conclusions. In a news article quoting Fr. Giovanni Gennari (attempting to defend the Curia against the accusations of investigative journalist David Yallop), Fr. Gennari stated: "John Paul II's predecessor mistakenly took an overdose of tranquillisers... After his conversation with Cardinal Villot, the Pope [John Paul I] mistook the dose he should have taken." (Ouest-France, undated press clipping, July 1984) The same article repeats a statement made by Cardinal Villot in 1978, his alibi’

Villot: "What occurred was a tragic accident. The Pope had unwittingly taken an overdose of his medicine. If an autopsy was performed it would obviously show this fatal overdose. No one would believe that His Holiness had taken it accidentally. Some would allege suicide, others murder. It was agreed that there would be no autopsy."’

So Cardinal Villot's alibi was that Pope John Paul I overdosed on his own medication for low blood pressure (Effortil). This alibi intentionally left room for speculation of suicide, to deflect attention away from the real cause of John Paul I's death: poisoning by Cardinal Villot himself.’

Pope John Paul I was in good health

According to Dr. Buzzonati, Pope John Paul I's cause of death was a heart attack. Regarding this alleged “heart attack,” John Paul I's niece affirmed:

“In my family almost no one believes it was a heart attack that killed my uncle. He never had heart trouble or any illness of that kind.” (San Juan Star, October 3, 1978)

And Pope John Paul I’s brother:

“John Paul’s brother Edoardo, in Australia on a trade mission, reported that the Pope had been given a clean bill of health after a medical examination three weeks ago. He was frail in health as an infant and as a young priest, but there were no reports of heart trouble.” (San Juan Star, October 9, 1978)

From Time magazine (October 9, 1978):

In an earlier age so untimely a death might have stirred deep suspicions: “If this were the time of the Borgias,” said a young teacher in Rome, “there’d be talk that John Paul was poisoned.”

But the Vatican replied that such allegations were “irresponsible.” (San Juan Star, October 18, 1978)

Enough evidence for any law-respecting state

Fr. Saez notes in his book that the amount of evidence is such that "no judge on earth could disregard it." He also notes that

"the data and the evidence that we already possess would justify a serious judicial enquiry in any law-respecting state. Now, not only does the Vatican refuse to conduct such an enquiry, but it does exactly the opposite: it thwarts and suppresses any research that tries to get to the bottom of this enigma surrounding John Paul I's death. This state of affairs is manifest in the Vatican's refusal to carry out an autopsy (if in fact one was not carried out) or in the clandestine nature of this operation (if it did actually take place). It also reveals itself in the obscurity surrounding the embalming, in the way that information regarding the circumstances of the death and the discovery of the body was manipulated, in the silence imposed on Sister Vicenza, in the pressure brought to bear on individuals and institutions, and in the widespread fear of speaking about this whole affair. This fear, whether conscious or not, runs particularly deep in ecclesiastical circles."

Prior to Pope John Paul I's murder, Our Lady's message of September 13, 1978 warned that there was a "foul plot" against the Holy Father, and that the world would "soon understand" what She meant. According to Fr. Saez, a recent poll reports that 30% of Italians are convinced that John Paul I was assassinated (about 15 million people).

Cardinal Benelli

After the murder of Pope John Paul I, prior to the papal election in October, 1978, Our Lady of the Roses gave this dire message: "My children, a conclave shall start, and without prayers you will receive one on the seat of Peter, one with dark spirits, consorting with the devil." (Our Lady, October 6, 1978)

And Our Lady of the Roses message of June 4, 1977: "Already in Rome, as I gave you in the past, the man called Benelli has come forward to approach the seat of Peter and to bring upon Rome the full reign of 666 on the seat of Peter! I beg you, I implore you, as your Mother, to listen! I have warned you now upon your earth; I have come to you as a Mediatrix between God and man, imploring you to listen to My counsel and My direction. The forces of hell are loosed upon your earth now."

Our Lady of the Roses prophecy fulfilled

The history of this papal election bears witness to Our Lady of the Roses prophecy:

In the first ballot Cardinal Benelli got 22 votes; Siri 18; Felici 17; Baggio 15; Poletti, the Vicar General of the Pope, 6; Cardinal Wojtyla only 2. The remaining 31 votes were dispersed (of the 138 electors, 27 were Italians). 75 votes were required to be elected.

The second vote shortened the field with a big surprise: Cardinal Siri had no votes, but Felici had increased to 30. Benelli had escalated to 40; he needed 35 more to win. Cardinal Wojtyla was astonished to have escalated to 9. Cardinal Koenig was certainly his enthusiastic fan, making proselytes in his favor, especially among the Polish and Germans such as Cardinals Krol and Ratzinger. The other 23 votes were dispersed. The idea of a non-Italian Pope was still hard to digest.

For the third vote there were two big contenders: Cardinal Felici, 38; and Benelli, 46. Cardinal Wojtyla remained immovable at 9 votes.

The fourth ballot was, for many, the end, when they heard that Benelli had got 20 more votes for a total of 60, leaving all other challengers far behind.

So went the fifth and the sixth ballots, except that Cardinal Wojtyla had started to gain ground and his supporters now were 25.

After the seventh ballot, Cardinal Benelli thought he was nearly elected: 70. Five more and he would be the new Pope. Still black smoke poured through the Sistine chimney.

Suddenly, after the eighth ballot, the count had switched: Cardinal Wojtyla, 70; Benelli, 40. All stared at Wojtyla, who went to his room to pray.

Finally, the ninth scrutiny voiced loudly: Karol, Cardinal Wojtyla, from Krakow, had obtained 96 votes. The news was announced by white smoke. Pope John Paul II had become the 266th successor of St. Peter!

Cardinal Casaroli

Our Lady of the Roses gave yet another stern warning to Cardinal Casaroli: "And now, My child, I must ask that you write, that you all write, to Cardinal Casaroli, who is influencing the Holy Father to not listen to this message [Our Lady of the Roses message]. His influence shall bring great penance to his soul if he does not come from his course of appeasement, which shall lead to enslavement for many. Pope John XXIII had ardently wished that the Bishops of the Eastern Church as well as the Russian Orthodox observers would be present at the Council, but he clashed with, first of all, the declared hostility of the official Russian Orthodox Church, enslaved by the KGB, which had hurled a “non possumus” in guise of a response to the advances of Cardinal Bea, president of the Secretariat for unity. Such was indeed the title of an article which appeared in the magazine of the patriarchate of Moscow in May 1961.

“In the present proposals of the Vatican, its editor explained, it is appropriate to see nothing other than the effort to extend the power of Rome over the Orthodox Church.”[1] He noted also that the See of Rome, proclaiming itself the center of Catholic truth and of ecclesiastical unity, had not manifested up to the present the desire to renounce the excessive demands which, in 1869, constrained the oriental patriarchs to reject the summons of Pope Pius IX to the Vatican Council.

After the death of Cardinal Tardini and the 80th birthday of John XXIII, in November 1961, the patriarchate of Moscow made known to the public under what condition some Russian Orthodox observers would attend the Council: “If there are not in the Council’s program doctrinal points on which the Orthodox Church cannot agree, (for example, the dogma of papal primacy), and if there is no longer hostile declaration against the Country [Russia] which we love, I do not believe there will be on our part any further difficulty of principle for sending observers to Rome.”[2]

Monsignor George Roche, who had benefited from the confidences of Cardinal Tisserant, certifies that “the decision to invite Orthodox Russian observers to Vatican II, was personally taken by His Holiness Pope John XXIII with the evident encouragement of Cardinal Martini, who was the adviser of the Patriarch of Venice at the time when he was himself Archbishop of Milan. Cardinal Tisserant received firm, irrevocable directives from the Pope himself, and the Cardinal was always a man of faith. He believed in authority, he obeyed him even when he was convinced of a political or diplomatic error.”[3]

The history of the secret negotiations which came to be called the “Vatican-Moscow Agreement” is well known. The envoy of the patriarch of Moscow, Bishop Nikodem, met Bishop Willebrands at Paris, then Cardinal Tisserant at Metz on August 18, 1962. According to Most Reverend J.P. Schmitt, Bishop of Metz, “following this conversation, Bishop Nikodem accepted that someone should go to bring an invitation to Moscow, on condition that the guarantees be given in what concerns the non-political attitude of the Council.”[4]

Such were the demands of the Patriarch of Moscow, who was completely devoted to the Kremlin. If Vatican Council II “abstained” from dealing with Communism and Russia, then the Russian Orthodox (and Communist spies) would come to follow its words as observers. And Pope John XXIII secretly endorsed such a promise. “A wrench was put in the works, our Father Superior writes, and it must be said, through a surrender without compensation, the Church, surrendering its major function on a point of capital importance, its doctrinal magisterium, its right and its duty, would not condemn Communism. In exchange for silence, the Church would allow herself to be infiltrated by agents of the most frightful and overbearing persecution in history.”[5]

The existence of this verbal agreement, sealed between the Vatican and the Kremlin in August 1962, is solidly established. The Communist press made allusion to it almost immediately. In January 1963 in “France Nouvelle,” central weekly of the French Communist party, Jean-Claude Poulain wrote: “The Church can no longer satisfy itself with coarse anticommunism. She has even taken the promise, on the occasion of her dialogue with the Russian Orthodox Church, that there would not be any direct attack against the Communist regime at the Council.”[6]

That horrible transaction, concluded between the Vatican and Moscow, explains the maneuvers, the fraudulent actions, the back-handed blow of the high authorities of the Church, so that the Council would not condemn Communism. “The (so-called) greatest Council of all time,” the Abbé de Nantes writes, “was therefore going to stay blind and deaf to the biggest phenomena of inhumanity of all times; world expansion of Bolshevism. Thus the Council underhandedly imparted to it a decisive help.”[7]​

Cardinal Casaroli became the Secretary of State in 1979, and held that position throughout the following decade. He was considered the primary practitioner of the Vatican policy of "ostpolitik" (which is precisely the "course of appeasement" Our Lady was talking about) during the years of the Cold War, and in a public address he described his successful efforts to persuade Pope Paul VI to seek accommodations with the Soviet empire-- abandoning the policies of Pope Pius XII, who had refused all forms of cooperation with the communist regime.

Pope Paul VI was torn by doubt about the morality of "ostpolitik," which was administered during his pontificate by the late Cardinal Casaroli. In an interview not long before his death, Casaroli revealed that Pope Paul feared he was not being faithful to the Gospel in remaining silent while Catholics were suffering communist persecution, and that Casaroli had to persuade the Pope “to stay with his (Casaroli’s) policy.” [“Paul VI had doubts about ostpolitik,” CWN news interview, Nov. 24, 1997]

Cardinal Casaroli died on June 9, 1998.

Cardinal Sodano

Cardinal Sodano, who succeeded Cardinal Casaroli as Vatican Secretary of State, has publicly denounced Pope John Paul II as "despotic."

Sodano: praises heretic

In a 1998 speech at the Lateran, Cardinal Sodano praised the heretic Hans Kung as having written "beautiful passages on the Christian mysteries," even though Kung has denied: the divinity of Christ, the miracles of the Gospel, the bodily resurrection of Christ, the historical founding of the hierarchical Catholic Church, and that the Mass is a re-presentation of the Sacrifice of Calvary.

Cardinal Sodano called Kung “the German theologian,” even though Cardinal Ratzinger (by order of Pope John Paul II) had stripped Küng of his theological credentials in 1998. Kung is considered to be the most notorious heretic of the post-conciliar era.

Sodano: receives praise from liberals, heretics and anti-Catholics

Cardinal Sodano has drawn praise from the infamous and heretical organization "Call to Action." Readers may recall that Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz of Lincoln, Nebraska, excommunicated all Catholics in his diocese who attained or retained membership in Call to Action after April 15, 1996. Advocates of Call to Action, elated at what they termed a "Vatican thaw," proclaimed that Cardinal Sodano astonished the worldwide Church by praising the heretical Swiss theologian Hans Kung.

The liberal National Catholic Reporter (NCR) also joined the bandwagon. The April 3, 1998 edition applauded Cardinal Sodano's friendly mention of Kung. The NCR promotes contraception, married priests, and acceptance of woman priests, amongst other things.

​

Hans Kung was happy, too. He said, "I never got much praise from the Vatican ... I think ... it's an indication of change ... coming changes in the general climate of the Church."

Are any Catholics paying attention?

Sodano: supported Germany's collusion in counselling that facilitated abortions

Cardinal Sodano initially supported Cardinal Lehmann's stance that Germany's issuance of certificates used to kill children was a matter for the bishops of Germany to decide. But Sodano was later forced to sign a joint Vatican declaration with Cardinal Ratzinger, insisting that the German bishops' complicity in abortion must cease.

According to The Tablet (April 28, 2001), Cardinal Sodano “had originally supported [Cardinal] Lehmann’s position in the controversy over whether the Catholic Church in Germany should continue to provide some of the pregnancy counselling centers there, as Lehmann desired. The question was whether the Church was colluding in abortion by issuing certificates confirming that pregnant women in distress had been given counselling, if these were then used to secure a termination. It had been Sodano’s opinion that such matters could be decided by the local bishops’ conferences, but eventually he was forced to sign a decree together with Ratzinger which compelled the German Catholic bishops to pull out . . . .”

Sodano: honored mass-murderer Gorbachev

At a June 27, 2000 Vatican press conference, Mikhail Gorbachev was given a seat of honor between Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Angelo Sodano and Cardinal Achille Silvestrini. The subject of this “press conference” (at which no questions were permitted) was the Ostpolitik of the late Cardinal Casaroli, the former Secretary of State. The Vatican’s policy of refusing to condemn communist repression of Catholics during the Cold War was lauded by Gorbachev and the two Cardinals. This is the same Gorbachev who, in 1987, told his fellow communists that "There must be no letup in the war against religion because as long as religion exists, communism cannot prevail. We must intensify the obliteration of all religions." This is the same Gorbachev who promotes worldwide abortion and contraception through his tax-free foundations. And this is the same Gorbachev who ordered the bloody invasion and war against Afghanistan, in which between 1.5 million and 2 million Afghans were killed (90% of whom were civilians), and 2 - 4 million were wounded.

Cardinal Sladkevicius of Lithuania, a witness to communist persecution of the Church, has warned, "The West has committed a serious error: it is trusting Gorbachev." The Cardinal also said, "Behind the openings of perestroika, a sham can be hidden: I am truly scandalized by the enormous and gratuitous credit which is given to the Kremlin outside the U.S.S.R."

And the Church has been scandalized by Cardinal Sodano.

Sodano: perpetuated infamous Vatican-Moscow Treaty

This horrendous scandal of honoring a murderer like Gorbachev would not have been possible without the Vatican-Moscow Treaty, the outcome of secret negotiations between the Holy See and the Kremlin in Metz, France in 1962. Cardinal Tisserant, Pope John XXIII's own representative, met with Archbishop Nikodim, the Kremlin spokesman, who at the time was head of the department of the external relations of the Russian Orthodox Church. At this meeting, the Vatican promised not to attack the people or the communist regime of Russia at Vatican II. This agreement enabled Russian Orthodox observers to attend the Council.

This existence of the Vatican-Moscow Treaty explains a great deal. It explains why the petition of more than 200 bishops from 46 countries to discuss communism during Vatican II was blocked. It also explains why the petition of the Spanish and Portuguese bishops to consecrate Russia at the Council was also refused.

​

This treaty has perpetuated a "communism-friendly" negotiating style amongst the Catholic hierarchy that has, for the most part, silenced the Church from effectively speaking out against the atrocities of this godless and ruthless system. In 1990, the KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn warned of this mistaken attitude:

"The Vatican should reverse its mistaken support for the renew of the communist regimes.... It fails to understand the greater apparent official tolerance of religion ... is accompanied by a secret drive to increase Party and KGB penetration of the Catholic and other churches and to use agents therein for political and strategic purpose...."

Just what Our Lady of the Roses has warned us about for years, but who listened? Pope Pius XI, prior to Vatican II, issued this crystal-clear condemnation of atheistic communism:

"See to it venerable brethren, that the faithful do not allow themselves to be deceived! Communism is intrinsically evil, and no one who would save Christian civilization may collaborate with it in any undertaking whatsoever. Those who permit themselves to be deceived into lending their aid towards the triumph of communism in their own country, will be the first to fall victims of their errors." (Pope Pius XI, Divini Redemptoris)

"Go forward, My child, now, and bring this message to the world: satan has entered into the House of God. He rules now from the highest places. The world and the Church of God is in deep darkness. Those who are in command—many have fallen away. Pray, My children, much, for with your prayers and sacrifices they, too, can be recovered.”

May 21, 1983 - Pope John Paul I poisoned by a champagne glass

“We will go back, My child, in history, a short history, and remember well what had happened in Rome to John, Pope John, whose reign lasted 33 days. O My child, it is history now, but it is placed in the book that lists the disasters in mankind. He received the horror and martyrdom by drinking from a glass. It was a champagne glass given to him by a now deceased member of the clergy and the Secretariat of the State [Cardinal Villot].” (Our Lady, May 21, 1983)

Sister Vicenza found Pope John Paul I dead at approximately 4:45 a.m. on September 29, 1978 and was forced to keep silent by the Secretary of State, Cardinal Villot, who imposed a vow of silence upon her to cover-up the whole affair. The secretaries were likewise forbidden to advise anyone of the events without Cardinal Villot's authorization. A trustworthy person conveyed to Fr. Saez personally that Sister Vicenza had said, "But the world must know the truth."

Sister Vicenza gave two conflicting reports concerning the state that she first found Pope John Paul I. According to her breathless words to a group of French priests that same morning, it was "in his bathroom" that she had "found him dead." Yet another report (no doubt arranged by Cardinal Villot), says that Sister Vicenza entered the room and found the Pope sitting up in bed, "with an expression of agony" before he died. This discrepancy is very important: if it was determined that Sister Vicenza found the Holy Father dead in the bathroom, still in his papal robes, this would indicate that Pope John Paul I died shortly after his "toast" with Cardinal Villot the night of September 28, 1978.

Murder from a poisoned champagne glass, just like Our Lady of the Roses had told us.

June 18, 1986: Have Sister Lucy tell the Third Secret word for word; Sister Lucy silenced; "on that date, as promised at Fatima [1972], satan entered My Church upon earth"

"I wish at this time, My children, to repeat again the need to write, to speak, to meet with the Holy Father in Rome, and plead with him to have Lucy come forward and tell the Third Secret word for word, as I give to you each evening on My appearances upon the grounds of Bayside, and Flushing Meadows." "My child and My children, this message will not be greeted gleefully by your clergy. But since Lucy has been silenced, it is necessary that the world knows the truth.” (Jesus, June 18, 1986)

"I say this evening, as your God, that on that date, as promised at Fatima [1972], satan entered My Church upon earth. He brought with him his agents—and satan himself, the deceiver of all mankind, sat in on Vatican II and maneuvered all the outsiders to come in and distort My doctrines and distort the truth." April 29, 1992: Third Secret - "Thirty-two years lost in indecision and fear of exposure"

"I gave Lucy the Revelation as a temporary secret--as I revealed [the Third Secret] to you on two occasions. Make a concerted effort to bring its entirety to Our children on earth. The hierarchy have not listened to My counsel--thirty-two years lost in indecision and fear of exposure. The Faith is shattered for many." (locution from Our Lady to Veronica, April 29, 1992)

Why do so few people listen to Our Lady?

Our Lady cannot be deceived; Our Lady cannot lie. According to St. Alphonsus Liguori, one of the Doctors of the Church, "The grace that the Blessed Virgin received exceeded not only that of each particular Saint, but of all the angels and saints put together." (St. Alphonsus Liguori, Glories of Mary)

Our Lady easily cuts through all the lies and deceits of satan. Who in their right mind would not avail themselves of Our Lady's perfect counsel and guidance?

Given Our Lady of the Roses extensive revelations on the conspiracy within the Vatican against Pope Paul VI, it is possible to make some reasonable conclusions. To attribute the removal of Archbishop Bugnini to Iran in 1975 to merely the dissatisfication of Pope Paul VI, seems ignorant and shortsighted. Rather, the removal of Archbishop Bugnini seems more logically to have been due to Cardinal Villot and the other Vatican conspirators, as an effort to protect their unfolding conspiracy and installation of the impostor pope, just months away.

But it appears that many Catholics despise and ignore Our Lady, trusting more in themselves. There are numerous photos proving the existence of the impostor pope to Pope Paul VI (confirmed also by a Church exorcism in Switzerland, by photographic evidence, by a reporter in Rome, and other eyewitnesses in Rome) that confirm the reality of Our Lady of the Roses' revelations on this subject. In fact, Our Lady stated that this was "common knowledge" in Rome. In the real world, in reality, Our Lady of the Roses words are true. It is only people living out of their heads, ignoring evidence and witnesses, who continue to be deceived and to deceive others.

We are grateful to God that bishops in Nigeria and in Africa have publicly acknowledged the truth of Bayside. (Read more)*

I continue to be scandalized at the cowardice ruling the U.S. Catholic hierarchy. As we have mentioned before, Veronica Lueken once received a confidential letter from a U.S. bishop, who stated that he believed in Our Lady of the Roses apparitions, that he knew the apparitions were true.

However... he asked that his name not be mentioned, that he remain anonymous. Veronica honored this request of the bishop, so we do not know his name.

In 50+ years after Our Lady appeared at Bayside, New York, this is the only U.S. bishop to come forward in any way, although timidly, like Nicodemus who "visited Jesus by night" (John 3:2; John 7:50).

Apostasy in the Church and in the U.S.

Archbishop Viganò states that the apostasy in the Church is now visible even to the most moderate people:

"I tell you all nothing that you do not already know, when I say that the Church of Christ is undergoing a very serious crisis, and that the Catholic Hierarchy has failed in the serious obligations of its apostolic mission and is in a large part corrupt. The origins of this crisis and this apostasy are now apparent even to the most moderate."

Cardinal Burke also referred to apostasy, and Our Lady's warning at Fatima:

"The more appropriate word would be the one Our Lady used in her message of Fatima — apostasy. There can be apostasy within the Church and this, in fact, is what is going on."

More than thirty years ago, Fr. Kenneth Baker had this take on the condition of the U.S. Catholic Church:

"Even though the entrenched bureaucracy will not admit it, the Church here [in the U.S.] is in bad shape. There has been a loss of morale and elan. But what should one expect when most Catholic children do not know the basics of the faith, when heresy is openly taught and defended in Catholic universities, when seminarians have declined from 48,000 to about 5,000, and when [only] 14 million out of 55 million Catholics [i.e., 25%] got to Church regularly on Sunday? It is not an exaggeration to say that the Church here is in a crisis." (Fr. Kenneth Baker, Homiletic and Pastoral Review, November 1991)

Many opine on whether or not the world is actually in the great apostasy mentioned in the Holy Bible (2 Thessalonians 2: 1-3). But opinions are a dime a dozen. What a gift we have in Our Lady of the Roses who is not a sinner but full of grace, with perfect knowledge and accuracy in regard to Catholic theology. She cannot lie and cannot be deceived. Our Lady confirms we are now in the great apostasy:

"O My children, cannot you recognize the signs of your times? The great apostasy is upon you!" (December 7, 1976; )

Nigeria: #1 in bishop support for Bayside, #1 for Mass attendance worldwide, #1 in Christian martyrs

The only nation in the world (so far) that has bishops with enough courage to publicly profess to the truth of the Bayside apparitions is Nigeria. How is the Catholic Church doing in Nigeria, under the leadership of these courageous bishops?

"According to the data, Nigeria and Kenya have the highest proportion of Catholics who attend Mass weekly or more, with Nigeria as the clear leader. Ninety-four percent of Catholics in Nigeria say they attend Mass at least weekly. In Kenya, the figure was 73 percent, and in Lebanon it was 69 percent."

94% Mass attendance in Nigeria. 17% Mass attendance in the United States.

Furthermore, Nigeria accounts for the highest percentage of Christian martyrs: "Nigeria has become the world’s leading source of Christian martyrs, reportedly accounting for 90 percent of Christians killed for their faith worldwide in 2018. Nigeria has become the world’s leading source of Christian martyrs, reportedly accounting for 90 percent of Christians killed for their faith worldwide in 2018."

Nigeria is a stronghold of Catholicism. Furthermore, at least two Nigerian bishops have visited Our Lady of the Roses Shrine on June 18th vigils, and publicly professed their belief in the Bayside apparitions. They are not hiding under a rock or hiding their lamp stand under a bushel basket (Matthew 5:15)

One of these two Nigerian bishops is Bishop Matthew Hasan Kukah of the diocese of Sokoto, Nigeria. He led the Rosary procession at the June 18, 2016 vigil (pictured above).

Africa is so far removed from the alphabet obsession and sodomy prevalent in the United States. A reporter asked the President of Uganda about a meeting with the LGBT community and the whole crowd laughed as did the President of Uganda

And you wonder why things are such a mess in the Catholic Church within the United States? Bishops and priests cannot even publicly acknowledge Our Lady and defend her Bayside apparitions, in a span of over 50 years. The United States was visited by Our Lady in a marvelous way and the priests and bishops were too ashamed to even stand with their heavenly Mother, the Queen of Heaven.

Did the devil successfully inspire enough scorn for Our Lady of the Roses in the world, that the American priests and bishops were afraid to even speak of it? Are they ashamed? Great saints would not deny their Catholic faith even under the threat of torture and death, but a little scorn and mockery and the U.S. bishops wither away in fear?

Fear of public opinion rules many of them.

I'm afraid we have to look outside the United States at this time in history, to witness what a courageous Catholic bishop looks like.

Our Lady of the Roses said it best:

"These hearts of Our pastors have been hardened. Their ears are clogged, My child; they do not listen. Their eyes are blinded, not seeing the miracles We send to open them.

"Pastors, do you reject the Message from Heaven because you fear it? Or do you prefer to ignore it because it will expose your error?" (Our Lady of the Roses, October 6, 1975)

Oh, about those miracles.

Msgr. Otto Garcia, once the Chancellor of the diocese of Brooklyn, stated in a TV interview: "If the amount of cures that are claimed were true, Lourdes and Fatima are nothing, compared to Bayside."

In the same breath, the diocese of Brooklyn officially claims that there is nothing supernatural about Bayside.

Africa stands firm in the Gospel

The U.S. bishops struggled even to use the word "homosexuality" as the root cause of the "scandal of the millennium," the sex-abuse crisis. Bishop Bruskewitz of Lincoln, Nebraska blasted the U.S. bishops at this time, calling them, "this hapless bench of bishops." In a June 15, 2002 email post by National Review Online’s Rod Dreher:

"This 'hapless bench of bishops,' as Bp. Bruskewitz called them tonight, couldn't even agree that the role of dissent and homosexuality in this catastrophe was worth studying. The conclusion is obvious: if reform is to come, it's not going to come from the bishops."

In fact, 2/3 of the U.S. bishops have let accused priests continue to work in ministry.

Much of Africa has no such problem. Bishops and even leaders of state in Africa stand firm in the Gospel condemnation of homosexuality, one of the four sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance (Genesis 18: 20-21; Jude 1: 7).

Bishop Joseph Mwongela of the Diocese of Kitui, Kenya has affirmed their rejection of homosexuality in their country, and the rejection of Western nations trying to impose their pagan beliefs on Kenya. The bishops emphasized the need to resist immorality, "even if that means martyrdom, to be ready and firm to stand for [the truth].”

In Uganda, Bishop Reuben Kisembo urged Catholics to fight LGBT propaganda and homosexuality:

"In the Diocese of Ruwenzori, Bishop Reuben Kisembo proclaimed an Ash Wednesday message imploring the faithful to fast not just from food, but from all forms of 'evil.'

'As [a] Church, we condemn the act of homosexuality, corruption, greed, selfishness, violation of human rights; let us do good to the needy, orphans, widows, elderly, disabled. Let us overcome evil with good,' he said."

The President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni shares the same fidelity to the Gospel message, and condemns the promotion of the LGBT agenda in Africa, calling homosexuals "deviants":

"During the same parliamentary speech, Museveni called gay people “deviants” and said that homosexuality was not normal.

'Why? Is it by nature or nurture. We need to answer these questions. We need a medical opinion on that. We shall discuss it thoroughly,' he added."

President Museveni of Uganda has urged African countries to ‘save the world’ from the LGBT agenda

He also blasted the Biden-Harris administration for interference in his country: "We don't need your aid, we are a very rich country! In fact aid is part of the problem!"

Dr. Steve Turley amusingly covered the U.S. liberals' reactions to Uganda's faithful and forcefully rejection of sodomy.

In the U.S.? We trip over ourselves to use the correct pronouns, demonize those who quote the numerous biblical censures against homosexuality, and even have Congressmen who seek to deny aid to countries that oppose the LGBT agenda.

As Our Lady said, the United States has become "a true picture of Sodom and Gomorrha":

"Your country, under the label of liberalism, rationalism, humanism, all manners of fallacy, has now committed the most abominable of acts! Justice, law, discipline are being replaced by all manners of evil, permissiveness, loss of knowledge of sin, debauchery . . . a true picture of Sodom and Gomorrha!" (Our Lady, March 18, 1976)

The corrupt U.S. bishops

Let's be honest: A revolution has occurred within the Catholic Church since Vatican II. Cardinal Ottaviani, one of the few to actually read the Third Secret of Fatima, asked all the bishops at Vatican II, “Are these Fathers planning a revolution?” Interestingly, Our Lady of Fatima specified that the Third Secret was to be revealed in 1960, and it was in 1960 that Pope John XXIII first announced he would be calling Vatican II (1962-1965). In 1946, Sister Lucy was asked when the Third Secret would be revealed to the world, and without hesitation she said, "In 1960." In 1955 Cardinal Ottaviani asked her why it was not to be opened before 1960. She told him, "because then it will seem clearer (mais claro)."

Who is dumb enough not to make the connection?

Archbishop Vigano states that the post-concilar revolution has almost entirely eclipsed the Church of Christ:

"the 'conciliar church,' that is, of that subversive organization born almost imperceptibly from the Council and which in these sixty years has almost totally eclipsed the Church of Christ"

But did the hierarchy obey and release the Third Secret in 1960, as commanded by God? Non serviam.

Did the hierarchy consecrate Russia, when commanded by God in 1929? Non serviam.

Recall that just two years later, in 1931, Jesus told Sister Lucy what would eventually happen to the Pope and bishops for disobeying His command:

"Make it known to My ministers that given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My request, that they will follow him into misfortune. It will never be too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary."

Did the Vatican allow the Bishop of Fatima to keep the Third Secret and release it, as was his duty as commanded by God? Non serviam.

Did the Vatican have permission from God to change every aspect of the Catholic Church since Vatican II? Non serviam.

Did the U.S. bishops investigate the doctrine, miracles, seer and thousands of witnesses to the Bayside apparitions in a sincere attempt to find the truth? Non serviam.

So you see, the priests and bishops who claim the Baysiders are the disobedient ones are really engaging in ongoing projection and gaslighting of the laity. It is they who have been disobedient to God, it is they who have disconnected themselves from 2,000 years of Catholic doctrine, tradition, truth and reality.

As Jesus told Veronica Lueken, it is the clergy who are the disobedient ones:

"I have asked you in the past to refrain from rebuilding My Church into a church for man. I am the foundation! I have set down the rules. And of all the disobedient cries, of disobedience against My little ones, it is you who are disobedient to your God! It is you who have been disobedient to the Vicars I sent to you!" (Jesus, October 6, 1978;)

The liberal American hierarchy have perpetuated a false narrative against the Bayide apparitions to deflect from their own laxity, heresy and moral corruption. Unfortunately, many of the weak and misled laity fail to recognize the deceit of the bishops and fall in line, further propagating this false narrative against Bayside throughout the world.

Only a handful of priests and bishops told the truth about Bayside

I was extremely blessed to have met a Bayside-believing priest, Fr. Matthew Peraino, when I was first inquiring about the Bayside apparitions. I asked him why he believed in Bayside. He told me, "I did my homework." And that he did. Not only did he read all the Bayside messages, he also visited Our Lady of the Roses Shrine. He admitted that priests, "we were all deceived", regarding the changes in the Church. He stopped giving Communion in the hand, as Our Lady of the Roses repeatedly requested in her messages and began to celebrate the Latin Mass again.

Fr. Henryk Kaminski wrote in 1991, "I do not have the least doubt about Our Lady's apparitions at Bayside and the true situation of the Catholic Church in our times."

Fr. Robert Skurla is one of the more widely known Bayside priests. Once the International Chaplain of the Blue Army, Fr. Skurla gave a marvelous sermon promoting the Bayside apparitions at St. Peter's Cathedral in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He stated,

“The messages of Bayside restored my confidence in the Catholic Church once more. I will stake my reputation, if that means anything, on the doctrine contained in the messages. The doctrine is the same as I was trained in over the years.”

Then there is Fr. Michael Burke of Corpus Christi, Texas. He frequently went to the June 18th prayer vigils and wrote many letters in defense of Bayside. He repeatedly emphasized the diocese of Brooklyn did not investigate the Bayside apparitions. In a letter dated January 23, 1988 he wrote:

"Actually I challenge that statement of the Brooklyn Chancery Office because a properly conducted investigation has never taken place. To verify this, let Fr. Dietzen try to get a transcript of the so-called investigation to discover why the statements of Mrs. Lueken should be condemned."

And there is Fr. Bernard Nunes of India, who we mentioned previously. He wrote perhaps the most thorough defense of Bayside by any priest in the world.

Cardinal Medeiros of Boston was given the Bayside Blue Book for examination. His secretary, Fr. Oliviera also viewed the Bayside messages and listened to the audio tapes. In an April 24, 1990 taped interview with the woman who passed Our Lady’s message on to the Cardinal and Fr. Oliveira, she repeated what she had been told:

“Fr. Oliveira, said to me, ‘I did not know exactly how to advise you on this matter. I told you before the Church acts very prudent, and rightfully so on these types of events. And after reading the book and listening to the messages on tape, I could not find any heresy in them.’ Then to my surprise he said, ‘I gave the Blue Book and these tapes of the messages to Cardinal Medeiros to read and listen.’… Fr. Oliveira told me, he told the Cardinal, that he could not find any heresy, and he replied, nor could he. And that on all matters of the Catholic Faith discussed in the book, and also given on the taped messages, they were free from error.”

When questioned about the Bayside apparitions we have the statement of Msgr. Diviney, Vicar General of the Brooklyn diocese: "If it is a genuine manifestation from God, the truth will come out" (The New York Times, December 2, 1973).

We also have the statements of two chancellors of the Brooklyn diocese, Cardinal Bevilacqua and Msgr. Otto Garcia.

In 1982, Cardinal Bevilacqua stated, "If that [Bayside] is authentic, we're in two different churches." (Our Sunday Visitor, August 8, 1982) Cardinal Bevilacqua, as a Monsignor and chancellor for the diocese of Brooklyn stated, "She's [Veronica] not saying anything directly contrary to the faith. . . ." (Boston Herald American, December 27, 1978).

Msgr. Otto Garcia gave us this gem of a quote in a TV interview: "If the amount of cures that are claimed were true, Lourdes and Fatima are nothing, compared to Bayside."

Cowardice of the priests and bishops

It needs to be repeated that Bishop Francis Mugavero of Brooklyn (including his successor Bishop Thomas Daily) never interviewed Veronica Lueken. They were afraid of her. Veronica told me personally on March 3, 1992 that she and her husband Arthur had made an appointment to see Bishop Mugavero at the Brooklyn chancery. Veronica was waiting outside the bishop's office and was eventually told that the bishop would not be able to see her. Veronica told me that she thought the bishop went out the back door.

And this is what the U.S. bishops claim is a thorough investigation of an apparition? How great is the deceit of the hierarchy! But this is not my words, but Our Lady's:

"O My children, Rome is in great danger. There is much deceit throughout the hierarchy. It will be cardinal against cardinal and bishop against bishop, for satan has set himself in their ranks.” (Our Lady, May 28, 1977)

Many bishops have kicked the can down the road on Bayside, which to them is a hot potato they didn't want to deal with so the bishops deceitfully said that there was nothing supernatural going on. The bishops had to give this false pretext, or otherwise they would have to acknowledge the massive amount of authentic miracles sent by God to open their eyes and ears. Then they would have to reverse course on all the changes they had inflicted on the Church since Vatican II.

Similarly, many "good" priests have deferred judgment on Bayside, not because they don't believe it is true or couldn't find the truth if they investigated Bayside on their own, but because it would expose them to ridicule and perhaps the loss of their parish assignment, or the chance at the bishop's mitre one day. The contempt and ridicule against the Bayside apparitions is intense (as intended by satan) which blocks the timid and lukewarm from investigating Bayside and spreading this message.

The Catholic media also seems to have a hired-hand approach to the Bayside apparitions and will not do their due diligence. Career concerns, reputation, financial impact and expediency close the mouths of most.

As Bishop Fulton Sheen said, "The refusal to take sides on great moral issues is itself a decision. It is a silent acquiescence to evil."

It is reported that Fr. John Hardon, S.J. gave a retreat to a group of religious sisters (many of whom were Baysiders) and he mentioned that the Bayside apparition passed all ten points of Fr. Augustin Poulain's test for a true apparition (The Graces of interior Prayer). Fr. Hardon couldn't comprehend how Our Lady would condemn a practice (Communion in the hand) that Pope John Paul II had permitted, so he personally did not believe that Bayside was true. Around a decade later, Fr. Hardon would change his position on Communion in the hand, with his profound statement on November 1, 1997:

"Behind Communion in the hand—I wish to repeat and make as plain as I can—is a weakening, a conscious, deliberate weakening of faith in the Real Presence.

"And the American hierarchy took most—three times, those wanting Communion in the hand kept pushing and pushing. Finally, meantime, I was asked by the vice-president of the Catholic Conference of Bishops to defend Communion on the tongue, which I did. To get enough votes to give Communion in the hand, bishops who were retired, bishops who were dying, were solicited to vote to make sure that the vote would be affirmative in favor of Communion in the hand. Whatever you can do to stop Communion in the hand will be blessed by God.”

St. Joan of Arc vs. a corrupt bishop: "Bishop, I die through you"

God's people must always beware of false shepherds, those who use their office for their own corrupt and sinful ends. Take for example the two wicked priests who targeted the holy Susanna in the Old Testament. Only a courageous boy named Daniel stood against these corrupt priests and called them liars (Deuteronomy 13: 1-62). The courageous Daniel told the people, "return to judgment, for they have borne false witness against her."

In the time of King Henry VIII, all Catholic bishops in England reportedly had mistresses except St. John Fisher (the one bishop that opposed King Henry VIII and was martyred).

And then there is the case of St. Joan of Arc, who was used by God to save France. A politically motivated bishop accused St. Joan of being a witch and even put her on trial. While she was imprisoned, the mob got hold of her and burned her at the stake. The bishop was in earshot of the saint as she was dying. St. Joan was heard to say to the bishop as she died, "Bishop, I die through you."

Twenty-five years later in 1456 an ecclesiastical court declared St. Joan’s trial and condemnation by the Bishop of Beauvais invalid due to factual and legal errors.

So too, the wicked priests and bishops of our day have borne false witness against Veronica Lueken, have denied the thousands of genuine miracles from God, and have rejected the perfect doctrine in the message that condemns the very wicked clergy who oppose this message.

The 8th Commandment is "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." But the breaking of the 8th Commadment en masse is the foundation for the U.S. bishops' conspiracy against Veronica Lueken and the Bayside apparitions. She is the innocent victim of the bishops' corruption and heresy. She was sacrificed for the sins of the United States, the apostate clergy and the sins of the world. It was expedient that the corrupt clergy lie about Veronica and Bayside, rather than convert from their sins, from their many errors.

The lay people are carrying Bayside forward, until the clergy have the courage to do their job

Here's just one example to illustrate how the clergy deals with Bayside. In 1987, upon hearing that John Paul II would be visiting the Los Angeles area on September 15, 1987, a Bayside believer named Craig Freis set out (with a press pass) to ask Pope John Paul II what he thought of Veronica Lueken and the Bayside apparitions. Craig Freis slipped past the ropes in front of the news reporters at the LAX tarmac after the Pope had landed. With microphone in hand, he went right up to the Pope as he walked on the tarmac.

One of the news networks had Cardinal John O'Connor as a guest commentator on the Pope's historic visit. When the audio picked up Craig Freis asking the Pope about Veronica Lueken and the Bayside apparitions, the news anchor turned to Cardinal O'Connor and asked him about Bayside. Cardinal O'Connor evaded, "She's not in my diocese!"

Nothing better summarizes how the U.S. bishops have dealt with Bayside. It is all evade, deflect and evade.

The Bayside message has warned that the clergy have become "soft and pliable" to the enemy:

"Awaken from your slumber, O pastors! You have become soft and pliable to the enemy, because you have fallen asleep on your job! Compromise! Change! If you have a solid foundation-and you were given a solid foundation-what need is there to change, for you seek then to change the foundation. You are chipping away at My Church; you are burrowing like rats into the foundation of My Church." (Jesus, June 12, 1976)

God has providentially entrusted the solutions to the world's various problems with His humble and lowly servants, the foremost being the Blessed Virgin Mary. To obtain the solution to many of the world's problems, sinners must humble themselves and go to those whom God has chosen. As Our Lady exclaims in her Magnificat, "He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble." (Luke 1: 52)

The U.S. is not Portugal or Nigeria

Unlike Portugal where the bishops and government leaders fully embraced Our Lady and her message at Fatima (and consecrated the entire country to Our Lady within 14 years of the Fatima apparitions on May 13, 1931), the U.S. bishops were not so noble.

Not only did they not honor Our Lady, they denied she had even appeared at Bayside, New York and denied anything miraculous had even occurred (while simultaneously avoiding any investigation of the miraculous cures and sidestepping any interrogation of the seer, Veronica Lueken).

The U.S. bishops are living out of their heads, passing judgment on Bayside without evidence, without investigation. It is heartbreaking to say it, but the U.S. bishops have conspired together to silence the voice of Our Lady, have lied to the Catholic laity regarding the Bayside apparitions, and participated in a criminal conspiracy to hide their own error and corruption.

Jesus warned that the United States has sought to silence the voice of His Mother:

"Your countrymen have sought to silence the voice of My Mother throughout your world. You will not continue to silence the voice-boxes throughout the world, for you are sowing the seeds of your own destruction!" (Jesus, June 5, 1975;)

Tommy Robinson, a free speech activist in Great Britain, released on Good Friday 2023 a documentary entitled Silenced. Tommy Robinson states:

"The news is how we find out what is happening in the world, is how we form our opinions. Opinions based on facts. That's the key: facts. Facts should be delivered to you by journalists based on the truth. But what if what they are delivering you isn't the truth? What if the stories are manipulated to make you think a certain way, to follow a certain narrative, different people's agendas? And what do they do to those who go against that mainstream narrative, those who try to expose the truth?"

And what have modernist priests and bishops in the U.S. done to the Baysiders in the past decades? They have used every perjorative imaginable against them. Furthermore, because most Baysiders kneel and receive holy Communion only from a priest (as directed by Our Lady at Bayside), they have unlawfully been denied holy Communion more often than any segment of the Catholic population. Meanwhile, pro-abortion "Catholic" politicians are allowed to receive holy Communion (even though this is a sacrilege, even though Church law forbids this). These pro-abort politicians are welcomed to receive Communion by some of the same clergy who simultaneously deny Communion to good Catholics who believe in Bayside.

Bayside apparitions: The doctrine is divine

Our Lady of the Roses message has been providentially given in such a way that the arrogance of our generation may be exposed. The Bayside message is so simply that a child can understand it, yet this message will trip up the intellectually proud and the arrogant in a manner similar to the Holy Scriptures, the Bible.

The followers of Our Lady of the Roses, who are witnesses to the miracles and miraculous phenomena that have been occurring at the apparition site for years, have suffered for decades under a duplicitous, effeminate, and chameleon-like clergy who are not interested in finding the truth about Bayside, nor conveying this truth to the Catholic faithful. Doctors and nurses have used the word "miracle" as professional witnesses to the numerous miraculous cures including Jack Irey, Dr. Odilia Leiva Bejórquez, Susan Hayward, and Wanda Dunbar, to name a few.

The clergy and much of the Catholic faithful have hardened their hearts to Jesus and Our Lady and their message at Bayside. Sadly, this is one of their last warnings given the world before the Great Chastisement. Numerous souls have been lost, and will be lost, because people will not repent. Many bishops are on the road to hell, because they will not repent:

"Awaken now from your sleep before it is too late, for you, too, shall burn. Already many mitres are in hell, forever condemned to damnation.” (May 30, 1978; )

Even though most of the Bayside prophecies have been fulfilled, even though the Bayside message aligns with 2,000 years of Catholic doctrine and tradition (while many priest sermons do not), the clergy continue to kick the can down the road regarding the Bayside apparitions, washing their hands like Pilate: there is no strong opposition to corruption, heresy and apostasy within the Church. They look to others to solve the problems in the Church or throw in the towel because the fight against corruption is just too hard for them. They wait for a future bishop to rule on the Bayside apparitions, content in their laxity to just lay low, protect their career, their reputation, their materialistic and decadent lifestyle. Isn't that the modus operandi of a hired hand who flees when the wolf approaches? (John 10:12) So when the Great Chastisement comes, after decades of a minimal response to God's miracles and warnings (pagans and atheists responded more to God's call than most bishops and priests), how just will God's punishment be?

How many echoes of similar corruption do we find in the Old Testament? "How long will this people spurn Me? How long will they refuse to believe in Me, despite all the signs I have performed among them?" (Numbers 14: 11)

Jesus and Our Lady at Bayside are very blunt with the lax and corrupt bishops and priests. Our Lady has called the current generation of bishops "despoilers of the human race":

"Cardinals, bishops, priests of the order of God, if you are guilty turn from your ways. I make no accusations by name though the list is growing long to the Eternal Father. You who were given the God-given grace to be leaders of the flock have now scattered our sheep. Bishops, what has become of your vocations. You are becoming despoilers of the human race. You cannot hide your sins from the Eternal Father. Turn back while there is still time!" (Our Lady, June 18, 1993)

Jesus has stated the clergy "are demonizing the sheep":

"My clergy, you must take yourselves out of the world. You are secularizing My Church, but you are also demonizing the sheep, subjecting them to falling into the abyss, because--though the mercy of the Eternal Father is all-knowing, and His heart is merciful, many of Our sheep are falling into the abyss because many of My priests are on the road to perdition and taking others with them.” (Jesus, May 23, 1979)

The Catholic hierarchy has, for the most part, allowed the great apostasy to rush into the Church and collapse Christian civilization. They did not stand fast in the truth and tradition of the holy Roman Catholic Church. Our Lady of the Roses has provided a beacon of light and truth to a world and a Church that has fallen into darkness. The great apostasy came when the clergy no longer obeyed God and His Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. The clergy struck out on a path of their own and reaped the great apostasy.

The Bayside messages were always true, right from the beginning:

"If, then, the doctrine taught by one who claims to be sent by God to speak in His name to the whole human race is noble, elevating, in harmony with reason, satisfying to human aspirations, and beneficial to society; if this doctrine is confirmed by evident miracles and prophecies; and if it gains such a firm hold on the minds and hearts of men as to work a moral revolution in the world--the teacher has made good his claim. He is a messenger of God and his doctrine is divine." (Fr. John Laux, Catholic Apologetics: A Course in Religion, Book IV)

Punishment awaits the corrupt clergy

God has always warned His holy people through the prophets: "For the Lord God doth nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).

Jeremiah warned Israel and the religious leaders that God would use the Babylonians to punish them for their unfaithfulness.

In this generation, God has warned us that Russia and their allies are the instruments for our chastisement.

Our Lady at Bayside has warned the corrupt clergy that they must restore the Catholic Church, or they will receive the sword:

"The foundation for My Son's House has always been firm. You shall not use your rank in My Son's House to whittle away at the walls! You are going like rodents burrowing into the foundation of My Son's House! I do not need to name you with names, My children. You who wear the Red Hats and the Purple Hats, you know who I speak to! When are you going to cast aside the darkness from your hearts? Restore My Son's House to its proper foundation, or else you will receive the sword! Many mitres are falling into hell!" (Our Lady, February 1, 1975)

Holy priests such as Fr. Chad Ripperger have warned of the evil high within the Church:

"We have to accept the fact (part of the elephant in the room), is the fact that we have people in high places in the Church, running parts and aspects of the Church, who are evil. This is something we just simply have to accept. I'm sorry, but when every single thing you do maximizes damage, that is malice. I mentioned that the last time I was here. That is malice. Everything they do is just to cause damage. They promote the guys that are openly homosexual and things of that sort. They don't do anything about a certain country of bishops who are completely schismatic or heretical in their thinking. And yet the minute a priest basically wants to get up there and teach authentic Catholic doctrine they pull the plug on him." )

The corrupt clergy are obstinately riding the train of the great apostasy to the end, unto the Great Chastisement. All the changes in the Church, the half-truths, heresy and immorality continue. It is only the holy Catholics and remnant of holy priests holding firm to Catholic doctrine and morality that seem to elicit any sort of censure from the lukewarm or apostate clergy; the heretical and apostate are often praised and promoted. In all this, Jesus at Bayside reassures us that the gates of hell will not prevail: "The gates of hell shall not prevail against My Church, for a cleansing will come about and all that is rotten will fall! And My Church shall be restored to its former glory!" (Jesus, June 9, 1979)

But Our Lady warns that the corrupt clergy and Judases in the Church will fall to the sword:

“The word of an atheist is not binding. The promises of an atheist are not true. You are falling in with the plan like sheep to the slaughter. Your city of evil [New York City] will crumble into the dust. Your world leaders, who are godless murderers, will fall to the sword. The Judases in My Son's House shall fall to the sword.”
